If you become good friends with people during first generation, will it have any effect on the dialog in generation two? I know that your friend points go to zero, but if you were better friends with them in first generation do people say things like "Your father was a great man and a good friend" or something? Or do they act like they didn't know him very well if you didn't have them at any points at all when it switched over?

I think it doesn't matter on friend points, they all just go back to zero and say the same thing, I think. I don't own the game so....

It's sorta like that but I think it's automatic for the towns people to say, "Your like your father" In the game >: I don't think the FP matters at all. And no the FPs are not carried onto the 2nd gene >X

It won't matter if you were good friends or not in the first gen.

Instead people will just be like, "Your dad was cool, man" or "Your father always helped me when I need him the most" or "You are just as energetic as your daddy".

Not everyone will say scripts relevant to your dad, but as far as I'm concerned, I've seen those scripts from Roy, Julia, and Gordon, but I forget the rest...

I think Barrett says something about your dad. But yeah, the FP doesn't matter.

One big boost to befriending people in the first gen, is free stuff :P
But really, no there is nothing that changes in the secondn gen, Except for free stuff :P
