Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards the foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.'"
Now about swords... when I forged the first sword in the game (a stooooooopid Claymore), I ran around the house, waved the DS at my dad, and yelled Monty Python quotes. Rather loudly. Which ones? "The Lady of the lake, her arm clad in the glorious shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur cough Zangetsu cough from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur (Raguna), was to carry Excalibur.
...THAT IS WHY I'M YOUR KING!!!"
Sorry about that. I'll start talking with relevance now. I must be bothering you .
I really like the Luck Blade, too. It looks pretty and it was good in Greed and Clemens. I wub it. The Winsword was good, but it didn't really strike me as much as the other swords. I fangirlied over the Icifer and called it Hyorinmaru for a day, and it was pretty good, but it wasn't that fun to use. Hooray for the Sakura, though... but I don't like the Naruto character!
Yayyyyyy Monty Python :D
I've yet to make a Sakura, but it does look like it'd be fun to use. The Icefier wasn't all that fun to use either. I prefer one-handed swords to two-handed due to speed, but I'm'a practice more with two-handers so I can get better with those. I tend to like the elemental blades.
Yeah. You can poke people with them. Then they die.
Haven't actually forged any spears yet. Swords are just so Bleach-related--
HOZUKIMARU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry. I'm kind of weirded out because I tried to water Jake's head. He's such a butt to me XC . I don't wanna talk to him no more. He's an empty-headed animal food trough wiper. I blow my nose at him, so-called Jake-elf, and his daffy elfish knnnnnnnnnigits. Pfffft .
Anyone had any good luck with the wind-based swords? They is being turdy to me in RF1. I had better luck with the randomish-sounding ones. And OMG did it just say the b-a-s-t-a-r-d word?!?!?!?!? I thought this was E 10+!

Whoaaaa you are a Monty-junkie =D XD
I've had luck with the wind-based, and they're my personal fave's. Right now, I'm using the cyclone blade and I lub it :3 What problems are you having with them?
This might not be an actual legitimate problem; it might just be an annoyance. It seems like they are too fast to have satisfying damage. I checked their stats and they seemed good, but... I find that non-elemental swords are more satisfying to beat the « Puppy Doodoo » out of monsters with. I am sorry if I have caused a disturbance and/or have acted like a total anal-dwelling butt-monkey.

Yes. And Bleach and D. Gray-Man and Naruto and Death Note and Ultra Maniac and Fullmetal Alchemist and Harry Potter and Whose Line Is It Anyway.
I never really got into using spears. I'd like to try using them more.
Ah... I noticed the lower power on the wind blades. I love the speed they have, but I've recently switched to the faster, non-elemental one handed swords.
I personally believe so, though it's really hard to tell since they didn't show the damage in RF1.
I do know that when you deal with elemental blades, you have to worry about the element of the monster that you're going against. I'd rather not have to worry about the types of monsters that I'm fighting and have to carry one of each sword for any type of element that I might face. I do much better with the "Who cares what element it is, let's just bash with a sword" strategy, myself.
