Well I decided to start my second file after reading some of the posts here and take it a bit slower. Maybe by doing less quests in a day and spreading things out a lot more.

My question is relevant to both halves in some respects, when you get the love quests on the bulletin board can you keep them there and wait for others to arrive. I married Dorothy earlier then I wanted because I was worried that if I didn't clear her request I wouldn't get others from other people.

Also when is the first rival wedding? I wanted to try and play a whole year as Kyle, if I have the patience and see all the first gen events. As I'm not sure whether to marry Mana or Yue I need to know if I have time restraints on marriage.

Well, yeah, you can keep the love quests on the board for as long as you like.

The first rival marriage is Jake and Ceci's. Which is on Summer, Year 2. I forgot the exact day.

Did you say you were planning on either marrying Mana or Yue? If so, you don't have to worry about them getting married... they only do so if your marrying them, or in Yue's case, you marry one of the girls that has a rival(Cecilia, Julia, etc...), then she marries the rival of that girl.
