Actually, it's the younger characters in this one that I don't like. (Barring the MT men; they don't count because not everyone has access to them.)

Rock is irritating. Plain and simple. He drives me bananas with his arrogance. It pained me to pick the "good" answer that would make him like you in his Purple Heart Event. It litterally made me angry to have to do that just because I wanted the LP boost (I'm wooing everyone in my town btw, just so I can get the FD points for all the events). I don't even want to talk about him any more just because I hate him that much and don't want to piss off his fangirls. :/

Skye can go diaf. Srsly. *dodges things thrown at her by hoards of fangirls* He's way too "I'm the Harvest Lord's gift to women." The only reason he doesn't irritate me as much as Rock is because I almost never see him since I never bother staying up late enough for him to show up.

Marlin...I don't care for him, but he's not the worst. I just couldn't marry him because his Elvisness would make me lol too much.

Griffin is like the nicest guy in the whole effing town. He really is. As I'm doing his heart events, I'm noticing that more and more.

Gustafa was better in ANWL imo, but he's still better than Rock personality-wise. Besides, you could use that nose for some kinky things...*shot a million times*

Carter is hilarious. Some of the stuff he says is really, really funny. All his Heart Events make me laugh. Plus every time he says things like, "The sun is the source of my vitality" I just wanna scream "BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRDMAAAAANNN!!" and bust out laughing. I'm planning on marrying him in File 2.

So in the end, the older ones are the better ones, in my opinion. You just have to look past the surface and see them for their personalities, not their looks, because all the "good-looking" guys are pricks (just like in real life! :0). And the age thing, hate to break it to you, but it's better to date and marry older, since men take longer to mature than women.

Plus, they're all just a collection of pixels, so you shouldn't care that much, anyway. :/[/rant]

I take my games seriously, so I go for personality than looks. It really feels like you are in the game, living the farm life, marrying people, you know? But that's just me.

I find that the best group of bachelors are in DS Cute, since they are all different. It's tough to find similarities between them.

I think I developed some prejudice against him when I was marrying Celia in my first AWL file and he was a complete prick to my guy farmer. XD But in ANWL and DSC, he's fine. ^_^ I've never ever liked Rock, though, not even when I was playing as a guy. :/

lol That's alright. I respect your opinion on Marlin. I think I also developed some prejudice against Celia, since she was my rival for Marlin in AnWL and DS Cute. I just can't stand seeing their rival events. lol

Example: I just did Kai's first day of summer thing. After the eating part, you can talk to everyone, and Rock says something to the effect of, "It was good, but it would've been better if I'd done the cooking. Even though I've never cooked before."

I felt the same way at first until I got to know them better. Now I want to marry Marlin or Carter. Carter is an adorable geek, and Marlin is just sweet. Also Carter looks a bit like my boyfriend, that may have something to do with it Plus I saw a pic of his epic facepalm and cracked up. XD
