I agree that Egan seems to be the most underdeveloped character in this game. I think it would be kinda interesting if in a future game, you could actually go to an Elf Village or something. Have two towns to traverse and two towns worth of people to meet, than just one...Who knows?

*has come up with her own backstory for Egan and Jake that explains why Jake hates humans and elf/human marriages so much* I'm thinking of writing a fanfic for it someday... But I want to beat the game first so I have more information to use.

Also, remember... you can only put so much dimension into a video game character. They did pretty well considering. All the brides are very well-done, and most of the characters, though they are pretty one-dimensional (ex. Tanya likes swords and is tough and violent) it's effective. You get a good idea of their personality. Egan though, and someone else mentioned Herman (he eats, that's all we know) and Natalie (she cares about you... all we know) definitely could have used some fleshing out... but I guess you can't have everything.

It would take years to make every single character to say something different every day for a couple in game years. Also to make little personalities in em

Egan..bothers me, frankly. He even has the same festival lines as his normal lines, if you talk to him twice at a festival. After 6 pm when he visits Herman's house with Byron, he also says "This has turned out to be quite a fun day!" ..

I'd say almost all of the characters are under developed, which is a shame. If they had spent the time on all of them, this game would have been SO much better. I would especially love to see more backstories on Jake, Barrette, Dorothy, and Mana.
