Is it worth it?

I heard so many mixes responds and I cant really decide for myself even after reading some intro stuff. I did play RF1 and it was enjoyable but it went dull really fast, short storyline, and not many places to explore. Farming wasnt needed at ALL (mining) so how is this? Any better?

It is SO worth it. There is 2nd generation plus tons more. I don't want to ruin it for you though. It is a major upgrade on RF1.

Well... this game is similar to RF1 so if you didn't love RF1 you probably won't like this game. But from your post it seems what you didn't like is that there wasn't enough stuff to do? Well, this game will definitely fix that. There's tons of things to do, there's just as much forging/cooking/pharmacy/accesories as the previous game but now you can upgrade your weapons too, to make them more powerful. There's a whole second part of the game (I won't spoil anything, it's just a very distinct second part of the game) where you'll be able to go to school, learn lessons (this is how you get forging/cooking etc. recipes) and new characters are introduced. Many small things got improvements, like the watering can showing how much water's left in it, among other improvements.

You are correct, my ONLY problem with RF1 was the lack of things to do in it. It was wonderful for the 4-5 days I played it but after that I didnt even wanna play again since the only thing that would be different was my wife. 2nd Gen huh? Interesting.. I was holding back from buying this last time I went to the mall but I may buy this now. A school? :shifty:

It's way more addictive than RF was. RF was boring comapred to this game!

however, topics like these aren't allowed. You're refraising the question "« I can't make my own decisions about » it?"

Ah I am very sorry, I guess it is a bit against the rules, a mod can close this then. I just got the game tonight though :) I am quite pleased so far
Edit: thats fine :) i'd rather have this topic closed if its against the rules, sorry again

I love it so much more than the original. I like doing little requests instead of fighting a whole bunch of monsters, and it's fun knowing that it doesn't get boring after marriages, like most HM games tend to do.

Also, being able to play as a girl in the second generation is a big plus for me. :D
