Okaay !
So, I recently moved to the 2nd gen [took me long enough, eh?] and I have a few questions.

How the heck do I make farming easy again? I have a workshop in my school, but I don't know how to use it. Like, it's pretty much just an empty room.

Also, where can I get alot of the "newly listed items"? Such as giants glove, giants fingernail, pixie dust, and etc..

Thank-ya ! ♥

Make your farming easy by upgrading your tools and learn your 'newly listed items' from Barrett.

To do that, you need to learn 'recipes' from Barrett in school, his lessons are from 12pm - 3pm (Mana's lessons are from 9am). Than, you'll need a forge to make your tools.

Yue will sell you the forge, kitchen, pharmacy on Mon. Shelf, fridge and makers on Wed. Kitchen utensils and record player on Fri. (If I'm not wrong, she just sells on Mon, wed & fri)

Farming is made easier when you upgrade your tools at level 3, where it is pretty much the same level as in the 1st gen.
You need to learn the recipes and ingredients though, and all are listed in CrazyDAC's guide.
DL it for future reference.

Farming is going to be a challenge for a few days/weeks, but after a little bit of item-gathering it shouldn't be too difficult. To help out with watering on your farm, definitely catch and befriend a few of the goblin pirates on Blessia Island - two of them at 10FP will water your entire field, cutting down a lot on watering time.
To fill up your workshop, you'll need to talk to Yue (she sets up shop in North Square on Mon/Wed/Fri at 9:00 AM, so you can talk to her on the way to school). Each day is a different set of items, but if you talk to her each time, after about two weeks you'll have everything (don't buy the small kitchen - just go straight for the large one).

The newly listed items are from new monsters. You'll have to travel deeper into dungeons (you can now get past fences and move those statues if you fulfill their requests), and experiment with what to kill. For example, giant gloves come from a giant hammer-wielding orc in Blessia Island - North Beach. Some of those newly listed items though you'll have to use Inquisitive Waltz. To obtain it...

1-Second Generation.
2-Build a Library
3-Get Striking March from the Inn, the room at the right in the first floor.
4-Go to the library and get Inquisitive Waltz.
5-Go to a dungeon and bring any tamed moster along with you.
6-Clear the field in the area of the dungeon you are in. Make sure you have defeated any monsters.
7.Use the Inquisitive Waltz and the Monster should bring you various items.
Items such as Strong Vine, Gunpowder, Poison Powder, etc. are obtained this way. It's annoying because the game gives you no hints about Inquisitive Waltz - you just have to find it all out for yourself. It's difficult though because it takes up RP, and you won't always find what you're looking for; most of the time you'll find a weed, grass, etc. so it's annoying >_<
