Uh, well they just kinda... pop up XD They're just.. "there" like mining rocks or rune flowers so it isn't a secret or anything, just an upgraded version of the rune flowers basically.
Well... as far as I know she only dislikes insect skin... But if you give her a gift on her birthday, even it if isn't marked on the calendar, then it will appear on the calendar as if she had told you.
Problem is, i married Yue before i bought the Jam. D:

So can we still get Dorothy's birthday in 2nd gen? >.< By befriending her all over again..

On topic: I think Cammy kind of fits because she's just so similar to melody with the pink pigtails and such xD
you can find the rune flowers and icicles in every dungeon, but not in each dungeon map, and they are always there, but after you use them, it won't reappear till tomorrow.
Yue will start selling again during 2nd gen if you marry her. Because on the 1st gen she'll be a good housewife and stay at home taking care of the child.
