If you marry Yue during summer, but want to partake in the mining festival during winter, does Yue simply not participate? Since your wife never leaves the house.. :/
And also, if you're already married, can you still take other girls out on the Shooting Star Festival? XD Can you take your own wife?
Thanks

I think if you're married you can take other girls out to the Shooting Star Festival. I tried to take my wife out, but she wasnt leaving the house. And Mana was *right there*... XD
I'm not sure about the other stuff though.

No, you'll wake up in the morning and you'll see your wife standing in her standard spot beside the bed, then she'll just disappear. She still partakes in the festival, but she doesn't walk there, she just gets "transported" there in the morning - same with Dorothy and fishing festival, etc. I guess it's a bit of a glitch, in a way... XD
No, you can't take your wife on any of the "romance" festivals (I guess they don't believe in dates after marriage... maybe they should include a marriage counselor in the game, Kyle and his wife's relationship doesn't seem to be very passionate ><), but you can still take other girls, for example you can still dance with Mana during the Dance Festival, or go with Alicia on the flower festival. What your wife doesn't know won't hurt her^^

I married Yue in my first file and she participated in the mining competition. But the thing is... her sprite seems to be "fused" with Roy's

When I married Yue and during the mining festival, my 'child' was already born. Yue just 'transported' the the festival spot WITHOUT THE CHILD!! Its just so weird, and my child just couldn't be found anywhere that day.

XDD that sounds frightening. Maybe she stuffed the child in her backpack for easy toting? XP haha
Also, does anyone know if you can still get the birthdays of the 1st gen characters onto your calendar in 2nd gen, if you missed out on some when you did the switch?
In other words, can Aria/Aaron find out Dorothy's birthday by befriending her to 4 FP, because i didn't get it in 1st gen..

Well... you can make "Strawberry Jam", Dorothy's birthday gift, in 2nd Gen. I think you use either the Pot or the Mixer, but all you need is a strawberry and the cooking skill is still pretty low, 10-12 or something like that. But then you'd have to wait all the way until Winter .___.
As for the Birthdays, I don't think they would tell you. Your best bet is probably to bring Dorothy back down to 4FP (if you're still in 1st Gen?) and get her to tell you. If you're in 2nd Gen already then I think you'll have to wait until Winter and give her some jam.
Or, maybe if you give her jam, even if it's not her birthday it will appear on the calendar? Since she mentions the magic word "birthday" in her setence, maybe Kyle has telepathy... doubtful, but still worth a try ><

In 2nd gen, all birthdays will show on your calender. Doesn't matter about FPs.

They only show if the character told you in 1st gen when their birthday is. Otherwise they do NOT show.

*Turns on DS*
They do, because I only talk to the villagers in my second file only if there's a quest to be done (Didn't want to waste time, busy farming). So I wasn't told by everyone when their birthdays are. (Only heard Roy's) Someone can try it out to confirm, but I'm positive about it~~~

So...all birthdays will automatically appear by 2nd gen? Even Sera & Serena's, etc.? o.o
.
T_T Then why did i waste all those oranges & tomatoes trying to lower Egan and Tanya back to 4 FP... . argh.
Someone confirm this, please? Before i mass slaughter some ants to get 12 insect skins to petrify poor dorothy with >.< ;;
