But anyway, I do better when I get straight up answers. XD
How on earth do I get a kitchen? And does it go in the workshop of the school or what? /:
And how can I charge up my watering can. It's killing me that I have to water each square individually.
How do I forge weapons too?
I can't remember any of the lessons I learned so far *shot* but I don't even know where/how I go about making the weapons anyway.
I'm totally shellshocked going from -omfg easy- first generation to -« What The Eggplant » is going on- second generation. :<
First off, you need to buy the workshop from Byron. You can buy 3 "extensions" to the school - the library, the workshop and the dojo. The workshop is probably the most important, the library is second, and the dojo is unnecessary but still fun and you get nice prizes, so I suggest building all three of them in that order. They all cost 10,000 G and 100 wood.
You can buy the following things from Yue for the Workshop: Shelves, Fridge (more space than the ones at home), Makers (Milk -> Cheese, Wool -> Yarn, etc. makes them sell for more and used in recipes), Forge, Pharmacy and Kitchen. And the Record Player but I have no idea what that does and it's 20,000 G so psh. All of those things have to be bought from Yue. She will sell them on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (other days she's just in her house if you married one of the girls with a rival, otherwise... I dunno where she will be) in North Square, you have to select "I want a bargain." Just go to her every day, you'll have to do it for two weeks because you can't buy the kitchen utensils without the kitchen and she sells the utensils first. Just buy everything you can each day and eventually you'll have it all. They are all important (except the Record Player).
You'll have to upgrade your tools so that they can water more - that requires two things; the forge you bought from Yue and the appropriate lessons. The good thing about 2nd Gen is that although the tools suck at the beginning, they get better, so that eventually the best waterpot can water like 63 squares at once and holds 200 water.
Go to school every day - you can take 2 lessons per day - and just do the ones at the top, moving down each week. There are Mana's lessons (9:00 - 11:59) and Barrett's lessons (12:00 - 2:59). I think Mana teachers the waterpot lessons on Tuesdays, but I'm not sure, so just do all the lessons you can. Once you know the recipe... get the ingredients and forge away~
A note about watering; I recommend befriending two Goblin Pirates (the blue things with swords) on Blessia Island and asking them to water your farm. If you have them both at 10FP they cover your entire farm, and they'll save you a ton of time (then, all you have to water is the dungeons).
And about the lessons, you don't need to remember them. Let's say you learned the "Sunsquid Sashimi" recipe but you don't have the utensil (Knife) or even the kitchen, so you can't make it yet. Don't worry. When you do purchase the kitchen and the Knife, walk up to the knife and you'll see all the recipes you learned if you press the R button. Then you can scroll down, pick "Sunsquid Sashimi", put in the ingredients for Sunsquid Sashimi and BAM! As long as you have a high enough skill level, you'll succeed. Even if you do remember the recipe off by heart you still have to select it or the game won't know what you're trying to make.
Hope this helped.
