Other Characters' Weddings? (RF2)

I was reading another thread, and I saw something about "Barrett and Dorothy's wedding." I rushed to the second generation, and I don't think I saw more than three or four days of Winter. Do the other members of the community actually marry during gameplay (kind of like Sabrina and Neumann in RF1)? How long would I have had to prolong Generation 1 to see this happen?

Barrett and Dorothy, Jake and Cecillia, Julia and Max, Rosalind and Ray. Those are the pairs that get married. You can actually steal the wives at the alter if you have 10 LP with them.

Jake and Cecilia will get married in Year 2 Summer... then I think it's Max/Julia and Ray/Rosalind for Year 3... and then last is Dorothy and Barrett during Year 4. I'm sure about Jake and Cecilia getting married Year 2 summer and I know Dorothy/Barrett are the last to get married - but the other two I don't know their dates or order.

Oh wow, so you pretty much have to play for years in-game to see that. I suspect I'll never actually do that, though it is pretty cool that there are events that can occur if you do like the farm sim aspect of the game a whole lot.

Just wondering-- If you view all of the rival weddings, will the girls actually start living in their respectful husbands' houses from now on? ._. Instead of following their normal schedules.. Does Julia still run the bathhouse after she marries Max, for example, or will she be upstairs in the extra de saint coquille room?

And the children dont get born no matter what, until you transfer generations, im assuming.

That's what I thought; wow, you have to play forever, just to steal a bride. But then I decided that I wanted to wait for Rosalind's wedding. Then I can save up some money and whatnot.

From what I've heard, the married couple will just become zombie-recluses who remain the husband's house forever until you go into 2nd Gen. Lame, but, I guess you couldn't expect anyone to actually play through all those, so, yeah.
