and i can't find a gold pumpkin
, i'm searching in palermo temple, seasonal room (summer), but i only find normal crops, the gold cabbage and the gold turnip were so easy to find, but the gold pumpkin and the gold potato never appear! what i do?!big cook-off, what dish do i enter? can't find gold pumpkin!

As I remember you enter seafood pizza. However, your dish must be on high level if you wanna win.
If you are looking for gold pumpkin, you must use inquisitive waltz. Go to the palemno temple -- summer room and use the IW (remember about taking a monster with you). Be patient because gold crops are rare and sometimes really hard to find.

Actually the seafood pizza had to be level 5... levels only go up to 10 anyways, but the pizza has to be level 5.
You can buy the seafood pizza from Yue but that one isn't a high enough level to win.
Instead you must craft it. The formula for the final product of cooking is the level of all the ingredients added together, divided by the number of ingredients. I think it will round up. The recipe for seafood pizza is:
-Ketchup
-Flour
-Squid
-Shrimp
-Cheese
The cheese is going to have to be level 2 at the highest (from level 2 Large Milk) and flour's max level is 1 from the general store. Then you have two choices; either get a level 2 ketchup (you will need to have level 2 tomato and onion for the ketchup; use greenifier) and level 10 Squid + Level 10 shrimp. Or you can use lots of greenifiers on the tomatoes and onions that you use to make ketchup (make both those crops level 10 so that the ketchup is level 10) and then you only need a level 6 shrimp and level 6 squid.
The contest is really difficult, but the prize is some kind of knife that you cannot forge (it's one-of-a-kind, only obtainable through this event). So either work extra hard or wait until the next year (that's what I'm doing .__.)

Well, Squid can only be fished at North Square or De-Sainte Coquille Square in SPRING, so if you don't have one now you won't be able to complete the recipe; unless someone can trade Wi-Fi with you (I can't though; I don't have one and I'm Summer too so I cannot fish it). As for Shrimp, it can be caught in a lot of places... East/West End, also Blessia Island - Summer Isle Port... lots of places.

I think he means the seasonal maps in Palermo; from what I understand of Palermo Shrine there are maps for each season where you can grow each type of crop (so you can grow all the seasonal crops there).
