nope. The two monsters (Yours and your friend's) Will meet up and have a little sceen on the monster meadow with bubbly music and the screen will say "They seem to get along" or something like that... I dunno if anything else happens, though^^;

It can raise the monster's affection for you. Which can really be useful and all, especially in the second generation. =D

Or you could just level up your communication skills by brushing air in the farmhouse with your extra RP.. you can raise up to 4 FP at a time once you reach skill 99. XD

Plus, at 99 you can probably tame all the monsters with just one pet. And IW will only take up 1 RP... ah, the advantages of the Communication skill... =P

XD good thing you can do magic in your house. But not in the monster barn.. >.< One time, i spent 30 minutes real-life chopping my chickens in half to level up logging skills. >.>;

Oh, I've done that. Wore the Y button out from smashing it a trillion times to use fireball and level up my magics. XD
