In my game I now have my fourth rainbow, and I only need the perfect honeydew to complete the fifth and final one, because, thanks to the strategy guide, I started my ingredient hunt for the fifth rainbow in Winter of Year 1. And, I'm ready to obtain my first Ostrich chick. :)
all you have to do for the tree stumps is hit them with your axe two or three times (perhaps more...)

sorry, do you have a question about the fifth rainbow? I think you're just letting me know, if so, congratulations! :)
No, I don't have a question about the fifth rainbow. I'm just spreading the good news. :)

I think everybody is confused about my stump question. (Either that or I'm confused by the question. :) ) I mean the small stumps the are left behind after you chop down a cedar tree or a fruit tree. How do you get rid of the smaller stumps? Is it still the same method as one would do with the bigger stumps?

yup, it's the same as the bigger stumps. there are two slightly different stump sizes, but you still use your axe to get rid of them.

use the C button to aim to the square where the stump is, that may help.

If you're talking about the little log looking things, you have to pick them up. A couple of people have asked about that, so I thought I'd toss it out there . . .

I have something to mention.

Candace:
Loved gift response: "What should I do...? I've never received something so nice... Thank you."
- Herbal Tea :: Herb (any) // Pot ---or--- buy from Sundae Inn or Meringue Clinic for 105G
- Perfect Herb Fish :: Fish (worth between 600G and 1200G) + Herb (any) // Oven
- Shining Cocoon :: from Silkworm
- Shining Flax Yarn :: put Shining Flax into the Yarn Maker
- Shining Herb Fish :: Fish (worth more than 1200G) + Herb (any) // Oven
- Shining Silk Yarn :: put Shining Cocoon into the Yarn Maker
- Shining Wool :: from Sheep
- Shining Wool Yarn :: put Shining Wool into the Yarn Maker

heart events:
- 2 heart gift: Herbal Tea
- 4 heart lunch date correct answer: "Delicious!"
- 5 heart gift: Shining Silk Thread
- request event correct answer: "You got it!"
- request event: Give her a Blue Mist Flower.

When I was playing a new file, I noticed that instead of herbal tea, I received a yellow herb for Candace's 2 heart gift. I believe that this may be a typo, because, in general, every bachelor/ette's 2 heart gift is not something that is the best gift for them. The five heart gift usually is. So, I was just wondering if this could be a typo or such, or, maybe it's just me.

I noticed that the little guidebook in the game says Jin loves seaweed miso soup, but when I give it to him, he treats it as a liked item.

yup, you can purchase three other plots of land and build a house on those plots. you can place furniture and go to sleep there, but your spouse, child, and pets will never be there. hence the "vacation".

also, you can't remodel the vacation villas, only your main house.

I'm looking it up nijuunana, I don't have the guidebook, and I got some information about the bachelorettes from multiple people.

Alright, a few more things. xD

I've done Ben's Rainbow and such, (Farthest I''ve gotten in the game, storywise) and, I have a question about the bear. I know that you can give her multiple items in one day (At least, that's what I've heard), but, what items does she like?

And, I have a question about the Blue mist flower. I know that the seeds are sold at the one Farm shop, but do you know what level (Stars) the shop has to be before they sell them?

EDIT: Nevermind about the Blue Mist question, they just randomly began to sell them to be, no letter or anything.

The bear loves all kinds of honey! That's the best gift, but you can also give her fish.

So, I have kind of an odd question. Calvin and Phoebe had a baby... where is he, exactly? I saw the cutscene in their house, but I can't seem to find him anywhere after that. They don't carry him around and he isn't in their house. Is there a special place babies go until they're older or does he just dissappear until he grows up?

you won't see the child anywhere until you see the second child even where they present the fully grown child. This will occur one season after you see the first scene.

The baby dimension, eh? That really sucks... Please tell me they fixed that in AP. >.<

I just found out by accident that the bear likes Herbal Tea as much as she likes Fish and Decent Honey.

Err . . . How many upgrades to the house are there?
