I had oranges in my very first town on the DS one, and I HATE oranges but I hate them even more now because of having them as my starter fruit xDD And the town I had was plain, too, which added to my hatred. I love my new town, it has so many different fruits =D Peaches, apples, cherries, oranges (I have to have them if I want to have all fruits <3) and others <3

I had oranges as my starter fruit in my town for GC. I hate oranges now; they just look so boring. Every time I look at an Animal Crossing orange all I can think of is, "You're not going to make me any money."

Anyone willing to give me some of their non-pear fruits? =]

At first I liked the game. But I was in vacations so.. I had time to play it. Now with college and sports its difficult and boring to play because I only can play after 10pm.. and at 11pm the stores close and stuff. So yeah.. I didnt like it that much.

If you chop down too many of your starter fruit in favour of a foreign fruit, does that foreign fruit become the new native one?

Like if I started with pears, wiped them out (maybe entirely? or just partially?) and replaced them with apples, would apples become my fruit?

I heard from a friend/random-anime-fan-at-BAM that if you actually play for an entire year on AC (gamecube) that you can marry one of the villagers. Is there any truth to this statement? I wanna know, so I can start focusing on getting my fav villager (though his name escapes me at the moment x-x)

That sounds like a lot of bull « Puppy Doodoo » to me. I wouldn't believe it.
I don't think Nintendo believes in bestiality. =/ ...or do they?

Nintendo brought us pokémon, and that's all I have to say on their stance on beastiality.~

I like Animal Crossing, I just wish stuff didn't close so early. ;_; I can only play late at night, so...

sabby_64 wrote:i love animal crossing because you can sit down and just relax. theres no fear of losing or dying or having to face some terrible enemy or any of that. its just a fun happy relaxing game, and addictive too!
I've never played the game, but friends have recommended it to me and I've always said that I'll check it out sometime.

And the time is now! D:

But based on your review, the game sounds really cute and fun! And a game where you can relax, plus it's on a real world time, so there's no a frantic rush to get everything into the shipping bin by 5 p.m. like Harvest Moon? That sounds awesome.

This, only in my case replace Zelda with The Sims 2.
