Yeah, well the title kinda says it all. I just started playing and already by the 8th day, I'm starving, the HUN bar is almost gone...the damn chocolates doesnt help much too. 100 apiece!! Who would buy that? And since im hungry i keep waking up at 8am. Is there ANYTHING else that i can do about this hunger thing? Fogu doesnt help much about this issue of mine.

I had that problem too - I just scarfed down herbs really, the blue/indigo ones I think help the most in general, which is good cause there's TONS in Spring.

Ha ha, yeah that happens when you first play the game (it happened to me and I kept fainting - A LOT!). Just collect every colored grass you see and eat some of them, but save some for later. Also, you should try getting animals as fast as possible. Once they're mature, they'll start giving you produce which you can sell for a larger income. Once you have enough money, try to expand your home and put a kitchen in it. THAT will help a lot!

...But of course, getting your kitchen will take forever in my opinion D:

Well i would eat a lot of grasses you cna find (the hearts) or just anything edible. its tough the first year

I did not eat anything until I got the dinner. So that my character was so hungry by the time I gave them some food they were. "gimme now!" ^^;;

Ditto. I barely ate the grasses..

I have to say my character ate more grass than my cows did. Give an herb to Taro each day till he is at two hearts to get a fishing rod.

Fish can help a little bit, though it may not if you have bad luck with the fishing expedition and waste more energy than ya gain back.

The herbs are good, and also try eating fish once you get the rod. Chocolate is kind of a waste of money.

1st year especially in Spring was very tough to most of the player. (Include me...) I usually eat a lot of herbs until I get a rod from Taro to goes fishing. Fish also help you to refill you're hunger too. As I get a rod from him, I keep on planting crops and fishing to run income ASAP to get the 1st bridge to Meadow. You can make it in Spring or Summer in 1st year. (p.s. Hang in there. You will be alright from ran out of hunger later~)

And right after the bridge is build, you will get the 'Diner' and 'Cafe' as well after couple of days later. As 'Diner' and 'Cafe' is in the island, you will never worry about run out of hunger anymore. (In this time, I never had a barn for cows and chickens... I just kept the money for build the bridges earlier in my 1st year.)

Eat lots of the grasses(weird heart shaped herbs) and avoid buying chocolate for hunger o 3o

That's happening to me, too...It took me a while to realize that I was waking up at NOON each day because of the hunger.
But I'm eating all the herbs and they help. :]
