Well, ninidunut, if you're missing your cat, you shouldn't have stuck him in Nami's room in the first place.

However, it's always possible that the game somehow got him out of there and now he forever roams the valley, lost and missing you SO much, crying it's little heart out because it has no one to go to....
Seriously, though, I LOVE the cat, the dog, too, but the horse, OMG.... don't even get me STARTED on that!!! >:D Okay, sure, I'll tell you about it. It takes FOREVER to get hearts on it (seriously, my cat and dog just got 1 heart, and it's already YEAR 6!!!!) and I've tried shipping things in its saddlebags a few times. Well, it just runs off, and.... yeah. The item gets lost, then I'm ticked. >:( ALSO, I used to ride it into the valley in search of grasses and stuff -- I would get off the horse to pick up an item, and the horse would just start running off at the speed the International Space Station hurtles off through space. Sometimes, there would be an item blocking its way -- OTHER times, though, I was not so lucky.

There would not be ANY item, and then, I would be, say, in the biggest area in which Gustafa, Daryl (I think

), the twins (firework makers), Cody, and a few animals live. I would be at one side of the place, and THEN, my horse would just ZOOM off, and I would have to run back to get it! (Wasting another valuable 30-40-50-60-70-80-90-100-110-120--okay, you get the point

of item-collecting time.) ALSO, the duck festival was just yesterday, and since it's only 'til 6:00.... well, ANYWAYS, it was, like, 5:20 or something, and I knew that I would not get all the way down there in time. I got on my horse, rode down there, and left it in a patch of weeds and stuff, blocking its escape. Well, anyways, after the festival, I was sent home -- OH, NO!!! My horse is still down in that area by the beach! So, then, I ran to get, and it was still there.
My horse spends most of her days in the shed now, but I let her run around my farm, and I just stuck her in my outside pen for animals. HOWEVER, I read a post in which the person said that they got their horse and sort of just abandoned it, and now it runs around in the valley and they can NEVER find it!

Seriously, though, I MIGHT just do that, and put it in the circus/Nina's and Galen's house area, where there I don't even go that much!

I go to all the others, on, what?, a daily basis? Other than Romana's Mansion area.... but I don't WANT to put my horse there; even though it's NOT happy in my farm (at least, I THINK not; I can NEVER raise its affection level for me) since the Witch lives around the Mansion, she would probably just cast some ridiculous hoober-gloobily spell which doesn't even WORK, and it would go all haywire and my horse would be dead.
Sooooooo...., yeah. I'll cast it out in the valley sometime; I don't NEED it!!!
You know what would have REALLY been good in this game? ....A feature where you could feed your pets, and where your pets could die, and you could go to an animal breeder to get a new one.... if you wanted to. The cat would live maybe up to 24 years, depending on how you cared for it (say, you would have to fill up its food and water bowls, and if it didn't like something, or you FORGOT!!!

to feed it, it would take 10 minutes off its living time), the dog maybe 25, and the horse.... hmm, Idk, maybe 30 years?

And they could get sick, AND, if you cast it out in a field off your farm and didn't feed it and all, if there were grasses and herbs and fodder, it would be able to eat and drink and be happy; if a storm came, it would die, unless it was in a special animal cave that day. Once you didn't feed your animal for, say, 5-30 days, since you cast it out, it would find a cave in the cliffs and you could visit it sometimes! But, THEN, depending on where you left it, how many days had passed since you last fed it, and who visits that area, then, there would be a chance that your animal could get adopted by a certain person.
Like, say, Gotz visits the valley every Saturday on his day off; in the Barney's Circus Construction area to search for lumber and all, if it already made a cave for itself then Gotz might take up your animal. Stuff like that.
And, say you were watching to see how long the animal would live. It would live in a certain area, and then, say you visited it one day and the animal wasn't there?, and you checked its cave, and it stunk, or something, it would either be dead or adopted. AND THEN, if you couldn't find it with any of the (un)local villagers -- special visitors from Mineral Town would keep a dog and cat on a leash and ride the horse, and lead it everywhere else -- well, then, it would be dead.

Sorry. XD
