When an animal dies of old age, the FP and LP points still go down. Now, this isn't fair, because it was old age, not sickness, and everyone should understand that there is nothing you can do in the game to genetically modify your animal lifespan.
When Tak tells you about how your animal passed naturally, he goes back to his house and tells everyone. This is a breeze, because time does not move when your indoors, so he technically has all the time in the world.

That's a good theory there. I can imagine it now. Tak running around the valley spreading the rumour that I had poisoned my cow or something. Shame on him.

If your dad died of old age, shouldn't Tak go along with him? The story would be better if you lived on a farm with your dad. xD I could picture him walking in on you and your hubby getting it on~
