There are no mallards in TOT. I have the unglitched version and the only difference is that Calvin is marriageable now. AP is the one when you can have Mallards.

Just sent in my copy yesterday. I am expecting it to take a bit longer since I sent it on the eve of a three day weekend! Why don't I think about these things before I do them?

Yeah. The glitched copies are still in stores. So you should probably buy a copy directly from Natsume so that you don't end up having to go through this.

Got my copy yesterday - Mailed on July 2nd, received on July 14th. Not too bad a wait. Now all I have to do is start a new game and marry Calvin. I was thinking of Journey Rucksacking it, but woah, the mats required make me shudder in fear.

Ahaha, I think they are in the pond in mine, too, and my copy is glitched. So, I don't think switching out copies made a difference. They are cute, though. I tend to have so much work to do, I never get to watch the animals for too long. XD
Took about a week to send and receive my copy. I even sent it normal mail, cost me about 2-3$ including buying a bubble envelope for it. Enjoying the game right now. :D
If you're worried about sending to natsume, shoot them an email first. They definitely are still doing this and it's really worth it if you like Calvin, or just if you want the minor glitches to be fixed.
Some display/text errors, like you won't see the %p or similar variables sometimes. Also it also says that you can only harvest rice 1x instead of repeatedly. I'm sure there's other stuff, but I haven't bothered to look hard.
1) Is this STILL going on? It should be. You can e-mail Natsume and ask if you want to be sure.
2) Do I need to fill out my registration card or can I leave it blank? I'm not sure my registration card was even in there - so I would say you can leave it blank.
3) What information should I give them and on where should I put it? You need to tell them why you are sending it to them and what your address is. I don't think it matters what you write it on - I used notebook paper.
4) Where should I place said information sheet? I just slipped it in the packaging envelope I put my gamecase in.
5) Will I be getting my game case back with the new game? You get a new gamecase, but it's exactly the same. I only know it's new because my gamecase had a 'used' sticker on it.
