Anyone know the glitch where you can't load your file, so you're forced to restart? It's happened to me like, THREE times, and now I have to save with both files so I can have a backup file. But does anyone know ANY OTHER way to avoid it?

Make sure you don't turn off your game when you save. That's what causes it D;

Well, technically it's not a glitch. It's a corrupted file in which was probably caused either by the game shutting off during a load or saving. There isn't really a way to avoid it other than doing what HMrules!! said. You also might want to keep your game charged and try not to drop it, as I've done countless amounts of times D:

If its the glitched HMDS, there can be LOADS of causes. Like saving in the sprite company tree... Look at the stickied glitches thread. Just try to avoid them, I save in both files in my game anyway because i'm paranoid - which doesn't make me sound too good but oh well.
v Well I think I remember reading that on the thread anyway.

If you can still use your save game slots, then you are one of the lucky people. Lots of people have had currupt save games, resulting in the save slot not being useable at all, and having only 1 slot left.

I use both my slots in case one currupts, and I make sure I leave the game running for at least another 5 seconds before turning the power off. So far I've managed to avoid corrupt save games.

It's also been rumored that the 1 billion G glitch causes problems in your game, including corrupt save games, but i'm not sure that one is true.

Bil G glitch causing corruption varies from person to person. Some people swear that it'll corrupt them (because it has), whereas other people (like myself) have used it without any problems at all. *knocks on all the wood in the house*

It can happen for a lot of reasons. Just avoid triggering glitches and the rest everyone else said.

There's no way to fix it either. u_____u;;

This is a VERY glitchy game and IMO not worth the price for such poor game coding.

Don't drop, touch or press the card while it's saving or loading. Don't turn off the power or close the cover while saving. Check it for moisture or crumbs.
Poor thing, it's SOOO glitchy.
