I really shouldn't post when it's been this long without any new ones but I'm doing is anyway.
Thank you so much Kupo I was actually not sure if I was going to buy this game because of the Runey System, it just seemed too annoying.
But after reading this guide I decided otherwise. (ordered the game today)

This guide's very helpful~ Thank you~
I'm curious though. How often should I take care of the Grass Factory? Every other day or so? I'm afraid of running low on Water Runies?
Now my days are more packed than before 'cause I have to take care of the Runeys. x.X

It's been a LONG time since I've been here or played RFF at all >< But I'll try to answer a few things if I can.
I know it's really difficult managing the areas that are in limbo and the grass factory at the same time. But once you get past this difficult part, and have all your areas in prosperity, it's much easier to manage the factory, plus you get all the added benefits.
I would put all your efforts into getting at least one area into Prosperity first. Once you have that (in fact two areas would be better) then you can start up your Grass Factory. That way you can steal water runeys from your Prosperity areas, and they will be back there the next day.cassidytheoddball wrote:Eek.
I've been trying to keep up with the whole Grass Factory thing, but I simply can't take enough water runeys without all my other areas going whack. Help, please?

That's good, because Grass Runeys are the most important once you get areas to prosperity. The only advice I can give is wait for your homestead to produce more water runeys, or take some out of the water-dominant areas...? That's a problem I've never had to deal with (I was always needed grass runeys) so it's hard for me to give a solution, but that's the best I can think of.Magic Pink wrote:I'm having the same problem. Trying to get everything to prosperity still but I'm ALWAYS short water runeys. I'm sloppin' over with Grass tho.
It should be every day, ideally. Remember that you should have a few areas in prosperity before you start your factory. Once you have that you can feel free to take Water Runeys from those areas, and use them for your grass factory. It may seem like a lot of work to get all those water runeys, and then re-fuel your grass factory every single day. But I find you get into a cycle and I just put aside 2 hours or so to work at it... once you get used to it, it goes much faster every day.Kasai wrote:This guide's very helpful~ Thank you~

My suggestion is to just wait until the beginning of Spring. For the first 7 days of each season, runeys will only increase by one in every area (the food chain is ignored). So you can use that to get your areas started, and try to use your homestead runeys to boost one area into prosperity. Then slowly work through the other areas using runeys from your homestead and the prosperous area. Grow lots of crops in the spring (tons!) because you'll need grass runeys for your prosperous area too.HarvestMoonRox wrote:Woo, thankies ^.^
But, i'm kinda stuck.
It is Winter 22 Year One and I have about 30 of each type of Runey in my homestead. And zip anywhere else. What should I do?

Hehe, sorry about that. I went on a little hiatus and haven't been on here for a month or two, so I felt like I should just go back and answer all the questions. It's great that your runeys are doing so well!cassidytheoddball wrote:Lulz, you answered my question too late. I have no problems at all with my Runeys, honestly, and I have 5 areas in prosperity. I'm approaching winter, though, so that may be tough. I'll stick it out though. I actually don't rely very much on Homestead to balance areas out, anyway.

I read somewhere if you let all area's go extinct plants will grow as normal, as opposed to having like, one area still alive and have it cause a slow down.
I really hope this is true because I realized my problem too late and then when I tried to fix it it blew up in my face and really makes this game not worth playing seeing as how I got a lot of relationship points and gear and I don't want to start over.
This is what I read over at Gamefaqs.

All Areas Prosper = No Effect on growth of crops (If a flower takes 100 days to grow, it will grow for 100 days and then be able to harvest.)
8 Areas Prosper, 1 alive/dead = Effect on growth of crops (If a flower takes 100 days to grow, it'll take less days to harvest.)
Other way around?
All Areas extinct = No effect on growth of crops (If a flower takes 100 days to grow, it will grow for 100 days and then be able to harvest.)
1 Area Alive, everything else extinct = Crops will begin dying, take a loooong time for them to be "harvestable."
So basically, don't make everything prosper. <__<;;
And by flower I could also mean a crop, like a Cucumber could take 18 days (I think that's the real number...iunno.) to grow up, it'll take less if 8 areas are prosper.
