12. No, the Hot Springs can be accessed at any time from the beginning. It's located in Caramel Falls.

13. There are always a few Green Herbs laying on the grass in front of the General Store, Meringue Clinic, etc.
Seashells, pearls, and clams can be found on the beaches. Also, have you done the scavenger hunt yet? You can do this from the get go as well. You'll find the first prize, a lapis lazuil, on the beach behind Mayor Hamiltion's house. When you pick it up, there should be instructions where do find the other free presents.

Caramel Falls. I just go up the side of the river in the Caramel River District to get there, right?

I got the first two scavenger hunt items, but the next one is at Brownie Ranch, so I have to wait a few days.

The only thing I've found on the beach is seashells. Do the clams and pearls look similar to what they look like in real life?

Yes, and to get to the Hot Spring in the Falls you need to walk behind the waterfall, up a stone staircase and behind a small wall and it should be there at the end.

It randomizes everyday. Sometimes you find leaver seaweed and common seashells. Clams are orange/brown in color and are closed unlike the common seashells. There are also fancy seashells, which are large, cone-shaped, and pink and blue. Pearls are light pink round orbs, and I think you can also find black pearls on the beach too, but they are pretty rare. Black pearls just look like regular pearls except for they're black and they sparkle.

For other ways to get items, if you befriend any bachelor/ette up to two hearts, they'll visit you one morning and give you a present. If you get someone of the opposite gender to five hearts, you'll get a much better present. (i.e. At two hearts, Luke gives you decent honey, at five he gives you a garnet stone.)

not sure that I understand. you need rare metal to make some jewelry (aesthetic purposes) and the journey rucksack. other than that, it has no purpose save a few people's like or loved items. (also necessary for pheobe's request event) It ships for 630G.

when their names turn blue (unfed, they are red), that means they have been fed. It takes just a few hours at most.

Wow, I never knew that bit about the animals. That's a big help, since I can never remember which chicken I fed and which one I didn't since they all look the same.

In regards to the animals, you can leave them outside overnight with it not affecting their hearts. But DO NOT let them out when it's bad weather. They tend to get cranky.

In regards to the rock by Gelatto mine, you need to complete Ben's rainbow recipe, then find his badge(the durned sprite lost it) on the second island of Gull island that you get to after completing Collin's rainbow recipe. Once you have that, you can walk up behind(after walking over Ben's rainbow) it and "Check" it. Make sure you have your hammer on you, or you can't break it.

If you ring them out from their barn/coop and then go to bed they automatically go into the barns themselves.They're smart enough to go in but not out!?

Also, for pets, you can have as many as the level of house you have. So with the default house, you can have one pet. two with the first upgrade, three with the next, and so forth, up to five pets.

Also, sometimes, even if you leave an animal out all day, they won't eat. it's totally random, and thus it's always a good idea to have feed/fodder in the troughs for your livestock so they can eat when you call them in at night if they didn't feed outside for some silly reason.

16. To dye wool, yarn, or flax, do I have to use a flower of the color that I want, or can I use an herb for the color I want?

Maki Zushi, are you sure that you can only have five pets? I read somewhere that you can have six, but I have also read that you can have, as you said, one per house level. Is the max five or six levels?

you can use herbs also. you can't use very berries or blueberries.

the house is maxed at 5 levels. I'm fairly positive that you can only have 5. though I've never tried to have six.

I believe that Wakuani is the game where you can have a maximum of six pets, Tree of Tranquility can only have five.
