The only cat in this game is in Doug's Inn.
And I find the dog very useful for chasing away wild dogs. Just my opinion though.

if you go inside at or before 8pm, i don't think you will have to worry about the wild dog.

Dunno, just try this, get your dog really really sad, maybe from 10 hearts to 0 heart, the second day it should be i'll ~.~ not sure bout this.. Blurry memories.. I think i had gotten old when the years passed by ~.~

I put my dog inside my house, no matter raining, sunny, snowy or whatever weather it is, i kept my lil doggy inside farm house, it wont run to any other area except that, every morning I hug it and 'throw' it back to the floor and the lil doggy just give me

everymorning i did this

When the wild dog came, I quickly run into my house and take the lil doggy to the wild dog. BTW, puppy can't help you to chase the wild dog away.

And yes, the puppy can't chase wild dogs away. When it's full grown it can.

build up double or triple or many many layers of fences

if you worried of the lumber to spoil, use those tiny stones instead, you can get it by fishing or after the weather that you can't get out of your house..

No cats here.... anonymous fish...... only cat in mineral town is the cat in the inn..... better known as "Ann's cat" -.-"...... As for the dog, i found a use for it.......TQ & sorry 4 the big fuss.........

I thought the "coyotes" in the farm were actually wild dogs, Missy....... no coyotes in mineral town......boy i would love 2 catch one if i could...... listen to it howl....

Talk about catching animals... There're no history of HM that allow players to catch other than dog.. The only ver. that allow you to catch a dog that i played was in PS2.. I forgotten what's the title.. HM Save The Homeland I think... dunno where i put d game already.. Wish they release the HM which allow you to catch any pet you like.. Better if they have HM ball

Chikorita will do it.....Bulbasaur is another option.....

but you'll probably need a water pokemon to water yr plants, so grab a Pelipper..... It can serve as your alternate teleport stone after the watering...."Pelipper.....go to the lake....I'm going to chew Kappa out..."It can also help you attack Kappa with Shock Wave.... XD lol

A hydro pump would undoubtedly be better than a mythic watering can XD
