I own Rune factory 1. I thinks it's good but it's stupid
when your wife has a baby it doesn't do anything. Plus the
girls just stand there and say the same thing after you're

I own all of them, but right now only RFF (other two I lent to a friend). Yeah, RF1 gets very stale after marriage and your wife becomes a robot.

I had RF1, but I agree with Kupo, it gets boring after marriage. I never had any desire to beat the storyline either. It just became boring too fast.

I do own RFF, and now that RFF has proven to be a great enjoyment, I'm considering purchasing RF2 (not to mention RF2 is really cheap now!).

yes, RF1 gets boring after marriage. and i couldn't get to complete it cuz of the release of RF2. and then i couldn't complete RF2 because of the realease of RFF.

I have RF1 and RFF.
I am not sure I want to get RF2, I may try it out after I am done with playing RFF, AnWL, TOT, DS, DSCute, and MFOMT.

Got the first and second. I'm awaiting the day I'll be allowed to get Frontier.

I have all 3. RFF is my favorite, then RF1, then RF2. RF2 never really... caught my attention as much as it did with everyone else, obviously. So fine by me that you leave it out of the poll. Haha.

I really do like all of them, but as previously mentioned, RF1 becomes a boring chore after marriage and once you complete the storyline. In fact, I married Mist before completing the game and it got very boring! So much so that it took me a while to pick the game back up and beat it.
RF2 may be one of my favorite games in existence. There's just so much character, and less robot from the villagers, and I had a very fun time wooing all of the girls to 10LP and going through their events. And Yue just may be one of my favorite HM/RF characters ever. The storyline was also incredible, and not too difficult. I really enjoyed the fact that it all had to do with bringing your father back, it was touching ^^ And the music, especially in 2nd gen and even the credits, was very well done. It's definitely an extraordinary game, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My only complaint was the game goes by a bit slow when you play as Kyle, since you're main focus is to get married. Although for me personally, I put the time to good use, wooing everybody before just sticking to Yue.
As far as RFF goes, let me start out by saying that the choices of potential wives is amazing. There's every type of personality you could ever want in them, and they're all adorably cute D:
I'm torn between all of them pretty much when it comes to picking a wife, and I'm trying to use my same RF2 strategy in which I woo them all to 10LP, but it's much more difficult in this game.
I know some people say they wish that RFF had more dungeons, but honestly, I think that the 3 for the main storyline are enough, but they each require a substantially different level to beat then the previous one, thus making them more time consuming. But anyway, I really enjoy the graphics and voice acting of RFF (and idk why, but I just adore Anette's voice!) My only real complaint is the Runey system..even though getting them into prosperity isn't that difficult, it's still annoying.

Something about RF2 just didn't stay with me like the others...I think the plot seemed somewhat forced. It was long and all, but...the first generation was pointless.

I highly enjoy the first Rune Factory to the second, since the story and battles are much better in comparison. The bosses in RF2 prove to be almost no challenge so far. Also the soundtrack in Rune Factory 1 is seriously nice beyond belief. I find myself sitting in Doros Cave just listening to that tune over and over.

Also the fact that everything is extremely overpowered in second generation. I literally have to hide in the corner and let my pooch attack everything for me while I am the healing « Baaaa *glomp* ». Made me grumble multiple times since I just don't have the time or patience to grind myself up.

The quests are nice though, I'll give it that. The characters in being raised to 10FLP/LP also divulged much more information and I really felt like I knew all of them. Max and I are best buds, but eh, second gen is just irking at me to the point I don't want to play it anymore. I'll get back to it eventually.

I have RF1 and 2. Now that I think about it, I actually spent more time playing RF1. I don't know, I think I didn't really like playing as a little kid. Felt weird, I like the relationships between older people I guess.

I've got RF1 and RF2. I would have RFF, but I don't have a Wii, and I don't plan to get one any time in the near future. I'm really hoping for another RF title on the DS... that or maybe a port of RFF to XBox 360? I'd go for it then.

I like RF2 better than RF1, largely because the "money" part of the game is more of a challenge than it was in RF1, and all the different tasks provide much more variety than "go to cave, till squares, kill boss." And unlike lots of folks here, I actually really enjoy the first generation. I always enjoy the "building up" part of a game.

Once I reach the point where I've got more resources than it is possible to use in the game, that's when I get bored... and it pretty well starts once you've upgraded the barn and the school up to their maximum points. Going to "school" every day feels like a pointless pressing of buttons that doesn't even cause in-game time to go by; having the recipes in purchasable books rather than a time-waster is something I prefer about RF1. (That, and the fact that my favorite girl is a bookworm you woo by reading a book a day. Sweet.)
