Do you ever go to bed early? The days are just so freakin long.
One day is as long as one day in HM:AWL, and there's 10 days in one season in that game, but 30 in RF! It really takes forever.
Of course, there's a lot to do, such as leveling up and stuff, but still.
Do you ever go to bed early? I sometimes go to bed as early as 9am, especially while waiting for stupid winter. (Misty Bloom cave =P)

I only go to sleep early at the end of winter. For some reason it just seems... longer..
I'm already level 99 so there's no point in leveling. And I've gotten most of the monster drops I want. I'm just ready to make an awesome field of grass in spring.

There are 30 days in all HM games except for AWL which is 10. I admit, it can startle ya if your first Harvest Moon game was A Wonderful Life. I should know since it was my first as well. ^^
I usually stay up until 12:50 AM which is as late (early technically) as you can stay up without being "groggy" which makes you fatigued after 1 AM. Then you waste RP at double the speed and wake up at 8 or 10 AM.
I usually spend my time progressing through the dungeons so I can unlock the gate and come back the next day with full RP. Bwahahah...
I agree too, Misty Bloom is a bit of a pain to wait for, so I just water my crops, harvest anything I need, and sleep sleep sleep, until an event or Birthday pops up that is. Since you can give multiple gifts a day that affect FP/LP I find this to be the best method. I unloaded about 20 wild grasses on Nicholas once and boosted the little guy up to 2 FP, so it does indeed work that way. Although if you are after Tori, Bianca, or Melody you might want to do what is needed for them as well (books, talking, and baths).
But then again, I am just trying to beat the story so I can get Lynette-dear. ^3^
I spend time on the side-events too when I can.
