Action Replay

Do you use action replay for your harvest moon games? I own it BUT i don't use it because it defeats the purpose of the game. I ONLY use it AFTER I've beaten a game to have a little fun. But NEVER with harvest moon... Srry i did with RF...

Don't even own it. I guess it just seems weird to use an Action Replay and cheat. Takes all the fun out of it.

I will VERY shamley admit i lied... I used AR to beat the boss of rune factory... Yea so i kinda lied... WELL at least it was after I beat the game the first time... ive brought shame to this post...

nah, i dont use it. i dont even own one.
BUT, i do have a gameshark, which is programmed into the VBA for the computer, i use that for my games i have for it, only because i own all REAL versions and finished them. the reason i do this is to completely screw up the [b]Very Bad Thing™[/b] with cheats >.< kinda fun messing with games on a computer

AR is good if you play the games like Pokemon. I don't use any codes if I play Harvest Moon.

Ever since the MissingNo duplication cheat back in Pokemon Blue ruining the challenge of the game, I swore never to use cheats on any game unless I'm really desperate, which is pretty rare.

Once I finish the game though I do enjoy a good round of fun with cheats. I never do save after that.

you need to cheat for money in IOH? weird. I can easily (and honestly) make the first million before fall.

It's more fun if you're doing everything alone. Without cheating. I heard about people who raised the FP/LP levels with AR, I think they only ruined the greatest part of the game

I could see cheating to get an ending to a game, if you wanted to see the whole storyline without having to put work into it, for an RPG or something.

HM rarely has a plot- it's a live your life game, and that's where the fun is at. I really can't see how it'd be fun to cheat at HM. A lot of the fun later in the game is when you look at your farm/villagers/family and go "Yeah. Look what I accomplished." You don't get to say that if you use AR.

I do cheat occasionally, for the things that are just a pain in the butt to deal with. But other than that, I do all the work. And I still enjoy myself. The way I do things, it just enhances the way I play.

I've used them before in some HM games, like BTN I used the money glitch, but I don't even have the game anymore.

And, in DS I used it to get a bunch of sprites, but I decided to just save over that file with a new one and try to marry the HG the legit way, but if I can't get buckweat flour or complete the shipping list because of the mining items that don't show up, I'll use the AR for that then.

DS/C Is my LOLJUSTFORKICKS game, where I use two cheats. Unlimited Stamina and mine creatures don't affect me. I've also used it to get some extra lumber and a lot of medals. Also, a bunch of sprites.

When I first tried out IoH on a [b]Very Bad Thing™[/b], just to see if I wanted to get it, I got annoyed with the hunger thing, so I put in a cheat so that my character wouldn't get hungry anymore. I enjoyed the game a LOT more after that too. So, if I decide to buy it, I'll probably use it again at least until I can afford to feed my character. Touch screen on comp = death though.

Oh yeah, and in GB, I didn't feel like waiting for the harvest sprites to give me the upgraded tools, so when they took them to upgrade them, I just inputted the code from the website to instantly get it. Waiting 12 + 24 hours with the timer on is just... BLEH.

So, I do sometimes. Don't really care, if it makes me enjoy the game more like in IoH and GB.

i've only used it after i beated ds cute and ioh
