For the number of rocks you need, you just need to know the perimeter of the field. As for the storms, aren't the results always random? I guess you could keep reloading until you get storms, along with at least 5-10 stones.

Yeah, that's a good tactic. I've just never managed to fully... fence-ify (XD) my farmland. I'll look into it though. Try and work out the perimeter and stuff ;D Thank you.
Anyway, after I discovered Zack has a mustache, I refuse to believe it. It doesn't suit him. I just wanna grab my sickle and shave it off. Alas, I just pretend it's not there when I talk to him.
Edit: I've always wanted an all rock fence farm too, but I don't have the energy to get all those stones.
