Oh wow. I hope that holds up. I'd be thrilled if we could pick these titles up later this year. Sunshine Islands is a cute name. Not so enthused about the prospective title of Animal Parade- it lacks a certain snap to it, but at least makes sense given the original title.

Also

harvest crops, care for animals, mine for ore, fish for...fish

made me lol.

I am a little confused that IGN has it announced though, since someone on this board emailed Natsume a week or two ago to ask about WakuAni and got the "there is no information regarding that" brush off.

It sounds like monkeys should be hopping around playing cymbals and elephants playing the tuba. Don't like it. ;-;

It's about the same as Animal March, though. And I mean, there actually is a circus as part of the subplot, so it's accurate even if it's weird.

They didn't say anything about the late summer. They said only about the summer season.

but d reality is dat there's also a circus in there. make sense if natsume think that way. but, i also kinda dislike it's named parade instead of march though

Huh... If either those do come out... it'll have to be on the list of games I want. Psssh, ahaha, but I'd have to wait during the holidays or something, unless I ditch the whole save to pay for the DSi completely and not trade in my lite(psssh, that'll happen when there's a cold day in Hell, I like playing my GBA games) thing. Anyway, here's to hoping that Natsume doesn't make another game glitch-tastic.

I also wonder why Natsume said that...since they announced the game so soon right after anyway. But whatever, it's official and I'm HAPPY!

They said that because the info about AM release date was still not official and i think they couldn't say anything about it.

Er... well, there's still no official release date.

So, how many of you plan on picking this up, even if you already have IoH? I think the goal of raising islands by collecting sunstones sounds pretty awesome, even if it is the basic HM formula of "collect a hundred of this thing to unlock that thing." I know a lot of people will be buying it for Will, too.

Is that the plot? Gosh, it reminds me of Chrono Trigger and the Zeal Kingdom does that.

At least I have a name for my farm on SI though. (*jots down Zeal on a notepad document* ^^)
I intend to pick it up since it sounds mighty original. IoH was lacking a story behind it really. The only exciting bit was getting struck by lightning, then poof we're on the island living our life and expanding. I definitely enjoy a strong story aspect ever since playing Rune Factory.

Cool, i can't wait to see the english version. I wonder will they change Will and Suiren's name?? cuz, the name 'Will' is used on almost every english sentence like, "I WILL survive". haha^^'
