^ Why isn't my post showing up?? D=
And Natsume needs to slow down, seriously. A remake or 2 is fine, but a new, fresh game sounds alot better...

I agree. The overall quality of the games has gone down.
The social system was never the best, but I do think AWL and ToT were on the right track for this.
The formula to me seems to be like this:
Step One: Make a new HM game with new characters
Step Two: Make a new game with the exact same characters with some new added features.
Steo Three: Repeat steps One through Two.
Seriously, though. The handhelds seem to be popping out like bunnies in spring. The consoles even seem to be suffering from this; though I personally think more effort is put into them.

Is this reminding ANYONE of that recent Sonic boom (HA) we had? Where they were crapping out games like no tomorrow? Or is it just me? (No, it's not.)

Not to mention that most of the new Sonic games were extremely low quality in my eyes. D;
I think Marvelous should slow down.
I can't tell which game is which, really. I know next to nothing about Wind Bazaar, Animal March/Parade/Lap Dance, or whatever else is new.

I think it's supposedly when EAM and SSaF are coming out. I haven't been keeping up, but I'd be really, really surprised if they're released then.

I assumed that is probably what they meant, I just thought it was kind of odd, since I doubt Marvelous cares about Natsume's release schedule. Even if they do slow down until Fall, we'll still be behind by a few games. o.O;

Can't we criticize it, though? D:

David's probably on his/her period.
Wanting marvelous to slow down and put more quality into the games: quality over quantity is a good reason to want to have the company slow down a bit.

I think a good slow down is neccesary as well. RF is no handled by another company, so Natsume no longer has to worry over working on those, but hammering us with varied HM's kills a good part of the joy that comes with getting a new game in a favorite franchise. Playing all of them becomes a chore, and the creators get as burnt on it as the players do. Look at what they've done with the WiiWare game!
Becuase of this, I'm skipping Sunshine Islands and waiting for the considerably more appealing Wind Bizarre.
I don't mind the reuse of an old cast, becuase in most cases (like BTN and ToT) the cast was vibrant and endearing to me, so I like to get to intereact with them again, while others (AWL and IOH) felt stale, and rehashing a cast can give them the life they were intended in the first place. Although, I agree the BTN cast was way overused (shoehorned into HMDS for no apparent reason).

But anyway, I kind of agree.
I'll probly only be able to get one every so often >.>
And I'm running low on money!
I wish they'd just slow down a little
I agree with you. I'm running out of money too! Plus I do believe the more games that come out at once, the quality will decrease.
There's so many games! I'm loosing track of all of them!

I believe they should release 1 or 2 games a year like you said. That would be fine.

I'm happy about the concurrent releases. :/
I love having tons of games to choose from at any given moment (I own them all) and it allows them to learn from their mistakes efficiently. I don't feel like one game per platform per year is pushing it; I mean, you have to consider the people that only have one of the possible platforms for the games. It's good for them, and it still makes the others happy as well (at least, it does me). Yeah. Just my opinion.
