Animal Parade

In Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, the divine tree which once stood in the middle of the Harvest Goddess' pond is weakening, the creatures are beginning to leave the land, and the five bells have lost their power. The Harvest Goddess believes that only the strength of the Harvest King can help revive the earth and bring the tree back to life. It's up to the player to help the Harvest Sprites ring the five mystical bells, summon the Harvest King, and revive the Harvest Goddess' tree and the land.

Seems a little strange that Sunshine's set for a summer release, AP's set for a fall release, yet supposedly they have the same release date. I doubt Natsume will be doing a joint release, since that's stupid as far as marketing goes, so expect at least one of those dates to change.

Exactly. I still can't wrap my head around why so many fans get so upset of simple name changes. It affects nothing in game, so what difference does it make if the character has a decent, albeit different, name.

I mean, if he was renamed something like the Harvest Cookie, then I could understand. Hmm... cookies.



As for the release dates, if the two games come out the same day, then SI would likely get ignored for a few months, or at least untill I've demolished everything I can in AP. I'm likely going to preorder both, though.

I still hope we get Sunshine earlier though, because I want to be able to give it a fair chance without having it overshadowed by AP's intriguing new child system.

I seriously doubt AP will be out this fall, or September 30 (as IGN says) but I'll have faith in Natsume, and for now, I'll trust that it will come out in 2009.

I'm just ecstatic that we will get it sooner or later. Now I can continue watching youtube videos without getting upset :D

And as far as SI goes, I could care less. I didn't like IoH. I liked the idea of it, being stranded on an island and all, but it was too annoying as far as gameplay and controls go. The only reason why it would even remotely excite me is because of Will, and that's not reason enough.

EDIT: Check Natsume's newsletter guys FINALLY! Judging by what was in the introduction, the "past few months" and all, I have a lot more hope for AP's release.
