I reccomend that you save before trying a game. That way, you can reset every time you lose. :D

Either save money to buy medals or I recommend playing the memory game and writing down where each one is when the flip over sense you can pause it.

I agree with Moon Droop 43, play the memory game, its the easiest game and only costs 10 medals to play and you get 100 if you win.

Although that game alone takes you longer to get alot of medals and its very annoying if you have the boy DS game and have the European game where Memory Game is the ONLY game you can play >___> i used to think something was wrong with my game when i wondered why i couldn't play Blackjack or Poker when thats what it was supposed to be so i've given up with trying to get alot of medals to get the cloak thing (65k something medals) whereas on Cute its so much easier. I managed to get the cloak quite quickly but theres no way im going to ever make the « Harvest Goddess » hand item so i'm not bothering haha *__*

Why did I not know you could do this? I thought I knew just about every trick in the book for this game. XD Well, I guess it's true, you learn something new every day. XD

On topic: I just play Poker a lot and hope I get lucky. And on hi-lo, I rationalize; 2-4 I usually guess higher, 8-K I guess lower, and 5-7 I just go with my gut. It's all about the most likely probability. :3

save it b4 u play and every time you get it, play the high and low and save it everytime you like hit 200 medals... save it and repeat it... till ur satisfied...
remember.. the weeds are worth like.. 1G.. and the WHOLE game is filled with it..just ship it and u'll get money. Fishing team can get you a whole 5000 per day!!

I usually play poker. If it's one pair, that's the only time I ever double up. Otherwise, I'd likely lose out more than I win.

I always play Poker, and will usually double up whenever I can.

It's earned me a lot of medals. ^^ As long as you have the patience to keep trying, it's not difficult to do so, overall. Depends on probability, for the most part.

I... actually wrote a little Javascript dealie thing to just drag card images into their place on the board. XD I got tired of writing them down in notepad, then made a quick HTML form with text entry boxes for each space and got tired of that too...

What I do with poker is to not double up if my initial winnings are 100 or more. Any less, and I'll double up till I get around 1,000 medals. So if I got a lame single pair, 10 > 20 > 40 > 80 > 160 > 320 > 640 > 1280.
A good thing to keep in mind are the odds of what the hidden card might be. A quick table, copied out of what I went and figured out a little while ago because I am OCD like that:
