Nintento DS Game Recommendations?

I want to play a new game... I love RF I & II, and I have FFIV, Elebits, Avalon Code, Children of Mana, Soma Bringer, Zelda, Time Hollow, Valkyrie Profile.. As you can see, I am mostly into RPGs, can anyone recommend a fun DS game? And something that's not retarded like magical starsign. That game is blows.

Hmmm... I'm not really into tactical battle turn games... I tried chrono trigger and didn't really care for it. Thanks for the recommendations though.

The Dragon Quest games are pretty good. Why not give Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride a try? I was instantly hooked.

I absolutely LOVE the pokemon mystery dungeon games, but rent it first. Some people love it some people hate it.
If you like the harvest moons out of the Rf franchise perhaps rent IoH and DS or DS/C. Another love or hate games.
Then Legacy of Y's book 1 and 2 are interesting RPG's. Perhaps do a little research on it.

I have never played The Dragon Quest games before, do I need to play Dragon Quest IV before Dragon Quest V to understand?

No, the Dragon Quest franchise runs similarly to other long running RPG series like Final Fantasy, it has a ton of simularities and details that keep in in the same series, but you don't need to play others to get it.

Speaking of FF games, just about any FF game is guaranteed to be a good play, though people are mixed with FFIII, since it's so old school, and kind of vague. I liked it, though.

A lot of those have turn based battles and if it really turns you off I suggest maybe renting any of those games? Turn based battling does get old but I still find all those games enjoyable. But if your really irked by it then try Legacy of Ys or Trace Memory.

Also a bit more info on the Digimon game(s). Both games you choose your gender and you'll have a different character sprite/face and a bit of a dialoug difference depending on gender. But the other game(2 games really) the difference between Dusk and Dawn is that Dusk has a bit more info in the beginning(a prequel of sorts)and your on different teams so there will be different male and female characters and a slightly different story. But in the end you save the Digiworld and all that jazz.

I LIKE DIGIMON SO WUT. Oh and in Magical Starsign you also choose your gender/character. Silent character btw, and you choose whether you want light or dark magic.

I suggest giving Final Fantasy Tactics:A2 a try. >__> I was in love. The story sucks more than I could've imagined, but who cares? It's all for the battles and the customization.

Though if you don't like turn based games, give something light and fluffy a try? Magicians Quest Mysterious Times is cute, though, it's just a slightly bulked up clone of Animal Crossing. If you don't really like AC, you'll get bored of it dreadfully fast. I played it a bit. Not bad. But not really better than Animal Crossing, about on the same level, which is sad, considering WW came out 4 years ago, and the graphics are still not better. -facepalm-
