Ok is the HMDSC kid gender random or dates of marriage??
Because I got married on the 13th of Fall and had a kid.
I was expecting a girl so I was stupid and careless and
named HIM Jill because I thought if you got married on
an odd day you would get a girl?? I should pay more
attention.

It's a rumour about the odd/even day thing. The gender is completely random, chosen at the time you get married. You won't know if it's a boy or girl until it's born.

oh that must be bad. a boy named jill. he will get teased for that one. but i guess jill could be a guy name too

Or it's just a coincidence.

I stand by the belief that it's random when it comes to determining the gender of your unborn child.

That's more of a coincidence. I did that even/odd marriage thing and I got a boy instead of a girl. D:< It's been confirmed the gender is randomly selected at marriage anyways.

Yeah I ran to ask my friend if she thought Jill could be a boy name too. His answer was not the one I wanted to hear!

Didn't you save the night before so you could watch the birth scene again and give him a nice boy's name? Like Chancey...

Yeah I emailed Natsume many months ago and they confirmed that the gender of your child is selected at random on your wedding day. Basically those words. But it wasn't completely clear that it is exactly your wedding day, so anyone trying this I recommend saving your 2nd file before your propose.

Jill... Maybe like Jess. Jill... kinda foreign right? It's definitely a unique boy's name. Good thing no one in the game gives a « Cow Poopoo » about what you name your kid. You could call him « Tulip » and the neighbors would be all, "Hello little « Tulip »~"

I've only gotten so far on HMDS as to Flora getting pregnant, and I'm not married on HMDSC. I kind of lost intrest.

Doesn't matter to me, if I made it that far in the game I don't care if its a girl or a boy...

And with names, I'd go with something so much more different then just Jill...>.>

But thats just me. Its cool though maybe you like the name Jill. Pfft, I was just saying my opinion, you can go ahead and get mad at me if you like...I won't be coming back to this post, I usually never do.
