I don't usually trade in a game for virtually the same one, but this is an exception.

My main concern with the original game was the hunger bar. But since the cafe and Diner are available from the start, that's no longer a worry. And the D-Pad option and a few new characters aren't bad reasons either.

Now, if they'd just go back to the old watering system, it would be perfect

How much do you plan to get for it? I've been thinking of getting IoH after SI comes out since it should drop in price. So if Gamestop or wherever you go doesn't give you a good price I have a paypal if you don't mind selling it to me.

Well, when I traded my initial copy in, I got around 12 USD for it. I'm thinking that after SI comes out, i may get 10 dollars or so.

Mmmm, if I were you, I'd sell it either online(if you can, since as long as it's in good condition and you have the box for it, you should get a good price), or to a pawnshop(since, they'd probably pay the most for it, if you weren't able to sell it online).

I'm just going to keep mine. I don't mind it too much... though, this game definitely will be a better addition to the series.

Well, I just have to say I love IoH, and would probably trade this for it as well...but I already have IoH so it doesn't matter! :)

I'm sort of out of the loop in terms of new gameplay. What's the deal with the new watering system?

I would never trade this IoH for this. Because it's basically the same game. In my opinion. Except for the new Blonde chico. And the new arrangement of houses. Otherwise I think it's the same.

In IOH? Each crop has to receive a certain amount of sun and light during each stage it goes through. The grade of the crop changes depending how much water and sunlight it gets, so the selling price of it varies.

Trading in my copy of IOH for SI actually sounds good. It's basically the same game, but SI is somewhat of an upgrade. I didn't play IOH for long and I just recently started playing it again. I hate the fullness bar, it needs to go caput. I hate the new watering system, it needs to go back to just sprinkling once a day.

I'm actually gifting my old IoH to a friend, since I know I would get but a couple bucks for, and she has very few DS games and a love for HM.

Does the old watering system still run like it did in IoH as SI? Or is it the old way?
