Why not a name that actually sounds like a name you would give a witch? Like Wryn/Wren or Griselda or Belladonna. Then there's Edwina, Edna, Ethel, Selena, Luna, Marjoly, Helga, Lilith or Willow.
In historical times, alot of accused witches tend to have the name Joan.
There are just so many friggin witch names to choose from I don't know what's their problem.
Let's see.. Witch Princess is 13 alphabetical characters altogether. Little Witch is what? 11 characters? Hardly breaking any limits.

Because then the fans would complain.Anonymous Fish wrote:Why not a name that actually sounds like a name you would give a witch? Like Wryn/Wren or Griselda or Belladonna. Then there's Edwina, Edna, Ethel, Selena, Luna, Marjoly, Helga, Lilith or Willow.

"They should have kept the name the same! Why did they give her a new name? When did it ever say anything other than Witchchama in the Japanese version."
But I think that no matter what they chose, someone would be displeased that they didn't keep the original. =p

We all need to realize names are bound to change when translated in order to (somewhat) fit in with the culture of the game's region, i.e. from Japan to North America. If anything, try not to stay so attached to characters' names. o_o

I wouldn't complain if it wasn't Wich-chama or having any other suffixes or whatever. That's silly because the English language doesn't have so many honorifics. There's no need for formalities unless the person is of a considerable rank/position. Like the Witch Princess for example. What is her niece's position compared to hers? Pfffft.
Whatever I'm going to treat this Witchkin thingy as a petname for a small kid.
