Do the villagers move?

Do the main and sub-villagers move out like they do in IoH? That is extremely annyoing in IoH espically with the sub-villagers. But I havn't seen anything clarifying that on here.

Not true. There are only 8 or so subvillagers in SI, and neither they nor the main villagers will move out.

I heard the villagers will not leave the island even if you ignore them. Is that true?

I'm so glad this game doesn't have that annoying feature like it did in IoH. Good thing for improvements.

Yeah, villagers never move. That doesn't mean you should ignore them though. If you any villagers for too long, they'll stop accepting your gifts. Then you have to talk to the villagers you were ignoring for a few days before they'll take your gifts again.

Thanks, I still think I'll make it a chore to talk to everyone everyday. It passes time when I'm done working

What's so difficult about talking to everyone? I tend to have a plan to talk to sub-villagers in rotation in IoH. I do this by going to different places on certain days of the week and make sure I talk to villagers I pass by within that area. This way I ensure I talk to everyone at least once in 30 days.
