2nd basket

I already bought a basket from the supermarket but there is still a basket on the couner. Can you ever buy it? Or is it there for show?

Because it is there for show. Just like when you buy bread, it won't automatically disappear off the shelf. That was a really bad example, seeing as you can buy bread multiple times...

It can't exactly be much of a glitch if it doesn't harm your game though by just sitting there looking pretty.

Maybe it was meant to be like your rucksack; you would be able to upgrade it to a larger one, but the programmers forgot to add it in or something.

I don't really know, and I've never really put much thought into it because it never really bothered me.

I think you can with an action replay code... but whats the point? your horse acts as a basket also just a tip

Nope, you can't even with cheat codes, as you can only have the basket in the bag on the main item section & not anywhere else....

Well, as for the point, you can say that it would be useful if you forget the basket deep in the mines...

I tried to buy it for the horse races, use it to fill it up will broaches in a year that has the shooting star event, then save that basket, and use the other one for normal things, then when the shooting star event comes, i sell all thats in the basket, it sounded like a perfect plan to earn a huge amount of money, until i discovered it didnt work.

Yes, but remember that you can't bring two baskets with you into the mines, the first basket you could carry, but the second one.... you can't carry two things and it doesnt go into the rucksack.

Of course, if it were possible, you could just buy a bunch, leave them in the square, and when the Horse Race came around, filled them all up. Your profits would be minimal, though, seeing as the real enemy is time, not having stuff to sell, on the Shooting Star event. I could never empty out my stash of valuables before Zach came by. =/
