He won't comeback, the most you can do is see the event when Doug watches him leave. He can either start a new game or wait for your file to get corrupted (that's what happened to me
) If you didn't want him to move you had to invite him to the Fall grape picking festival thingy.

And if you didnt know about it ( like me), and you wanted him to stay really badly, you would have to start over or just live with it.

Well the game did give clues. "Can you find someone to help pick grapes?" I asked literally everyone until someone said yeah. Ftw.

I remember the first time I played the game, I went immediately to Carter, because he was talking about how he gets "no salary and things like this [food] are appreciated". He pointed me straight to Cliff, heh.
