Ann's blue heart event not triggering

I walk into the right place right time and she's is at a blue heart color and the event is not activating!!! my house is upgraded twice if that helps. but i dont have the kitchen or fridge yet. does it make a difference??

erm, I believe as long as you have an empty rucksack and go to the Inn on Friday or Monday between Noon and 7, it should work :/ Are you sure you sure you followed this? D:

I'm not sure if your suppose to have a shelf or not...

do I need the cabinet?? I have the 5 slot rucksack... is that good enough??

^ You should get a bigger Rucksack. One of the heart requirements is having a bigger one.
