Rival events

After returning from a long absence, I can't remember if I've triggered all the events up to now...

I don't think I've gotten the blue one for Kai..

I recall someone saying that the rivals say different things dependant on the event seen...

Does anyone have the list?

And when do I talk to them? Like for Gray he needs to be travelling to find out?
Kai says that Rick is going to get what he deserves one day at the Inn.

Yes, I'm lazy. Just go there, click on meet the villagers, rivals, blah blah. Look at the events and if you see-

Eh, just look at the rivals and try to work out the ones you have seen and not seen. /fail

That would work.. if not for the fact that I restarted a long time ago and I've seen those events, but I can't remember whether it was on this playthrough or the previous one ._.

I'm not getting younger xD

And yeah, I need a concrete way of determining.

I have made such a list, but I play the German game and so my list is in German. When you write down what they say I can tell you which event you've already triggered.

And when do I talk to them? Like for Gray he needs to be travelling to find out?

They say different things (dependant on the event seen) when you talk to them als follows:
Cliff: upstairs in the Inn
Rick: In the morning outside the Poultry farm
Kai: upstairs in the Inn
Doctor: in the hospital
Gray: in the morning just after leaving the Inn

Kai says that Rick is going to get what he deserves one day at the Inn.

Kai says that Rick will get what he deserves after you've triggered Kai's green rival event.

i sometimes forget that i triggered but i just befriend the rival to hear their next saying to find out

For Gray, when you say leaving the Inn, does it work if I talk to him just before he enters the Blacksmith?

He says to me Working Hard I see, and something about getting along with his grampa.
