Oh... time keeps moving when you're inside? This is gonna be my first game like that. *likes when time freezes inside*
Ya. The time doesn't stop when you're inside. That why you can see the characters going out, even if you are inside their house. The similar system was in AWL/AnWL
B-but what's this about only being able to save when you go to bed?! That was my least favorite part about some of the older games I've got [BtN..</3] and that kinda gets me a little less stoaked. I don't always have the time to sit down and play for a set time and stuff, so I appreciate being able to save wherever, or at least whenever, I'd like. ^^;
Sadly, you can save the game ONLY when you go to bed. I hate it, too. Natsume or XSeed (I don't know what company will release the US version) should change it. But probably they won't.

I've been playing WB and I love it but it if you want a easy one buy WB and if you like harder games you should buy SS&F, and the things that I don't like of WB is you can only save your game when you go to bed :S , 1 bag of seeds = to 1 square on your field no 9 squares like games before, you will get the horse in the 2nd year, and you can't group the same item with different levels

This. Though, when you say this game is easy -- how easy?
The only games I have are the GC games. So, is WB as easy as AWL/AnWL or is the difficulty more comparable to MM?
Mind you, neither were difficult games. I thought FoMT was hard, but my game cartridge broke not long after I started playing it. :x

Wait... you can only save when you sleep? Like, it's not like the diary system was in MM where you could save WHENEVER, but only at the diary?
With the portability of the DS, you'd thing they'd make it a bit more convenient for players who want to play on the go.

Wind Bazaar is VERY easy. AWL/AnWL was much harder.

I'm not sure what kind of diary was in MM but in WB you can save the game only when you got bed. Before you jump to your bed, you will be asked:
- do you wanna go to bed and save the game?
- do you wanna go to bed without saving?
- I don't wanna go to bed yet.
You cannot save whenever you want. This system is a pain :/

Hm. I thought AWL was quite easy, so I'll probably find WB easy, then...

Oh... That sounds like a major drawback. I'll probably still get the game, though.

Fretka wrote: WB is also very good but calmer and waaay easier (farming is a peace of cake)
- very nice graphic (the best of all HM games)
- nice music
- time doesn't stop when you are inside the house/cafe/barn
- time - 1 hour = 1 minute of our time
- great character voices
- you may have many pets (dogs and cats)
- your dogs and cats care about chickens and cows/sheeps
- no weeds on the field
- new system of selling stuff (like the title says - wind bazaar :P)
- you can leave your house during snowstorm
- the villagers accept your gifts even if you ignored them
- you can catch and sell bugs and frogs
- you get the cookies from girls/boys even if their heart is black (thanksgiving)
- funny random events
- no Harvest Sprites

Big minuses:
- not-romantic heart events
- the field is too small
- the greenhouse is too small
- no mining cave
- you can't save the damn game during day! (you can save it when you go to bed)
- your spouse does nothing special after wedding
- no befriending wild animals.
All these... (playing some translated version, in traditional chinese)

But I really love those cats and dogs taking care of the animals!

Jumping is fun too. (did we have that in previous games? I forgot..)

The pace is just nice...unlike the previous two games. It's tedious taking care of ppt charts to properly play farming in shining sun...even though I made those to help out...I think the requirement to water at least once a day is better than to worry about when to water and when not to water...

It doesn't matter that the shipping bin is gone, the bazaar is the real fun part of the game. People coming to see and buy your goods one day a week...now that's the real idea of fun instead of going on a rat race to chuck all your goods to the shipping bin. I really like the bazaar system, hope that they will keep this in future games.

Windmills make your life easier, so you don't need sprites at all.

I think they made the save that way to prevent people from cheating/resetting their game...(not that I care, I'm using cheatcodes just to get the feel of the game.) You can just close the DS lid or talk to character (not too sure if this works usually but it does work with bazaar stores) to stop time...

Quality system is back, but seems like you can't stack items of different quality. I think this is also another minus unless someone knows what to do with this...my backpack gets filled too easily.

I sometimes wonder if they are just churning out games too fast to even focus properly on the sim dating aspect...marriage does nothing...

They added a drawing board to the front of your farm but it's not very good...anything that you draw on it doesn't come out smoothly...I just use it to scribble and decorate the name of my farm since it's quite useless...

I do like this game though, it's rather charming.

I haven't played either, but I'm going to get both. XD WB just looks so cute, relaxing, and different, while SI seems like regular HM fun. ^_^

I found SI really challenging. Probably the hardest of the HM games I've played, but I didn't play IoH (or DS) so I can't really compare the two.
So, WB is perhaps a tiny bit too easy... and SI is too hard.
I have both island of happyness and sunshine islands. if ur trying to pick one of those or grand bazzar, i can help u with grand bazzar beacousae it has not come out in america yet so... but i have IoH and SI so i cant help u with those.
sunny islands is pretty hard, u have to befriend pretty much EVERYONE to get all the sunstone + then u have to find out where each sun stone can be found on each island, becouse there is a certain amount of sunstones u can find in each island. then, u gotta raise islands, each with their advantages. i would give u a site that "tells all" but i copy and pasted it on my word documents and took out only what i needed, and i only took certain passages, so i didn't do the whole page, so it dosent so the web site thing adress. but the ushi no tane web site is very helpful to, it might evan give u the ansers to where the sunstones are, i dont remember.

Island of happyness, theres not as much to it. i don't remember how to really complete the game, i havent myself, but i might have known at one point. i dont remember. so ill just tell you some things i know about IoH, there is a mine in it (there is a mine also in SI.) the mine is 255 levels deep. on lower mine evels, maybe pas lelal 10 in the mine, u might start to find a certain ore or mineral that u give to gannon the carpender/builder for him to make u maker macheens after you build the "maker shed". you can ride ur horse, unlike SI. instead of dealing with sunstones to raise islands, there are already acoupele peices of land there u just have to pay to build bridges to. there maybe still other things i left out.

i hope that helped, good luck with ur decishion.

I never played GB yet, but it sounds amazing.
SI is pretty fun, but in my opinion, it gets boring after a while. Maybe it's because I played IoH and already knew all of the characters, but all the same. /shot

GB has a lot more cool feature in it, including the ability to jump.

In the end, it is your choice, though.

Wind Bazaar is a really nice game but we still know nothing about US version.

I can only say that SI is much more challenging game than WB. Also is much better than IoH.

WB is also very good but calmer and waaay easier (farming is a peace of cake)

Ok, I have said a lot about WB. Like I said, the game is good but I would try SI first :)
NOTHING SPECIAL AFTER MARRIAGE?

BUT I HAVE ROMANTIC NEEDS!

Now, I've played IoH, SI, and WB. For a quick run down of all three:

IoH and SI are two challenging games. (To me IoH as well as another game is too challenging in my opinion).
WB That game is very relaxing and calming. It reminds me of FoMT and MFoMT.

But at the end of day is your choice.

What's the other challenging game? Because IoH is incredibly easy. o_o;
