And as for the same time and date thing, i think action replay was used, to change the state of the kid without changing the time.

HM SNES was the same in terms of same child...Even your wife was the same!!!
They wore the same dress, had platted hair, and done washing/stuff in your tool shed... the only difference was the hair colour lol

nope your son never grows older its the same with a lot of HM games like MFoMT,MM, and i believe RF.I think theres more but these are the more recent games that have this kinda thing where your child doesn't grow up.
