Ushi No Tane Forum

My first Harvest Moon game was AnWL.

The story of my introduction to HM, which eventually led me to fabulous Ushi:
My Dad bought a gamecube, and our cousin gave us some games he didn't want any more. Animal Crossing was one of them. While looking up cheats for a Kiddie Bed, I read that AC was a "cross between Sims and Harvest Moon". So, the next time I was in gamestop, I happened to see a harvest moon game in the Gamecube section. AnWL. I begged my Dad for it and never needed help proceeding to the end of it. When I got a DS and was looking for games, one caught my eye. On the back it said, "Made by the makers of Harvest Moon." Or something like that. The game was... RF1! So of course I had to have it. This one was more difficult, so I looked up help sites and found Ushi!

Except for the black haired kid. Do you think we get to pick him to play instead of the other "guy?" Or are they introducing the guy-love thing? (I forget what it is called in anime).

Black haired kid is a villager, and his name is Gaji. Blacksmith, I THINK. You can't switch him out with Maisu I'm sure. And guy-love is yaoi. (I hate you, Internet. xDD)

And no, they aren't. Or else he would have a heart by his name like Shia (the girl with flowers) and Touna(the elf.) Which leads me to believe Monica isn't marriageable. D':

I own AnWL too, and MfoMT and IoH and RF1 and Boy and Girl and.... HAHAHAHA! I made myself giggle. I don't remember when or why or how I came upon USHI but it was at least three years ago maybe only two. I'm trying to get a copy of RF2 and RFF and am putting RF3 on my watch list (So is Wind Bazaar). Animal Crossing is also an total fave. I think I played a copy of my cousins game on the gameboy color when I was younger.... That's probably how I got into the HM craze.

My head is like SPLODING.

Screw the first few posts, the protagonist looks great.

I found this forum in a link from a FoMT gamespot guide.
I was looking for a new harvest moon game to play, then I read some reviews and knew I had to get RF.
So I grabbed myself a copy of RF2 and talked nonstop about it. Simple enough.

Seems its on the DS *sigh* I was hoping for the wii.

I wouldn't think it would make much sense to put RF3 onto the Wii anyway :/ Why give it the beautiful graphics treatment against its previous installments? Then again the same could be said for RFF, but it doesn't tie in with the RF1 and 2.
