QUESTION!

Does this mean we have two canon brides this time around? One for your human self, one for your wooly-changing-into self? I want to know more about the plot here.

The main character is so damn shota, it made me nearly gag. Although all the main RF boys have been a bit shota in the JP versions (have you heard Raguna speak in the JP RFF? He has the voice of a young girl!), it hasn't been pedophile feminine-shota like this. The two ladies suffer the same thing; they all look tweenish, not like young adults. I don't like him at all on a visual standpoint, although he looks MUCH better in his in-game pics than in the official art.

That's not to say I'm not still looking forward to this game, I'm just not too keen on the new lead. I'm going to need a lot of more info before I decide on this game.

That's probably true, but hey, we can't know for certain.

Maybe the next hero will have so much manliness emanting from him, we'll have to avert our eyes.

Then again, I'd rather it be a girl. XD Or a gender choice.

This new hero is okay, he's better than Kyle. But I think Raguna looked the best.
Actually, I think the entire RF1 cast was heading in the right direction, as far as mature looks go. Now they kinda look like 12 year olds D:

But I agree, I don't want RF to go chibi like MM. They looked like a bunch of fat little babies. Plus the fact that you could have a kid.... it looked like a baby was having a baby. That creeped me out, frankly. Made me think they had underage « Chicken Hugging » or something.... waay underage.

RF3 sounds interesting. I will be getting it once it comes out. Hopefully the English version will have good voice actors. IMO, the only RF game with good voice acting is RFF.

As long as XSEED handles the localization, they'll be using the same VO group as RFF did, so if they've got it, then we won't have an issue.
