my 1st was HMDS..i fell in love with it but unfortunatly it was corrupted and broke my heart
since then ive backtracked and now own/played alot of HMs :D

Harvest Moon 64, was my first HM game. I've played all the HMs after it, except the PS ones, and it seems to me that none of them compare in terms of character development.

My mom rented it from blockbuster when I was six, because I was interested in it. And, I later came to own it. I married Elli in my game, but it took me 7 years in-game! And, I did a total of 10 years. And, I was, like, a billionaire! I never had that much money again...Until the billion gold glitch for Harvest Moon DS. I named my Dog Qest(It was supposed to be Quest, I was six and didn't know how to spell it. ) And, my son's name was Bobby. And, my character's name was my family's last name. And, my horse's name was Fudge.

AWL was my first HM game...some guy brought it to school for some reason, and ranted about how amazing it was. A year later, I saw a used copy at Gamestop and decided I had nothing to lose by buying it...

BEST DECISION EVER.

Mine was BTN. I liked it a lot, but I got bored after a while...

Harvest Moon 64!!!! the BEST one so farr... I want a remake that is more in-depth

The first Harvest Moon I ever played was FoMT. I was very skeptical about buying it because I wasn't sure if it would be something that I would end up liking or tossing to the side a day later (I have a bad history of doing that.) In the end I ended up loving it!

Many play hours later, I pretty much packed away my GBA because I got a GameCube for Christmas. I had always intended on buying AWL when it came out but never got around to it. One day I came across an advertisement in Nintendo Power advertising both MFoMT and AnWL. I was soooo excited. I bought AnWL because I suspected that MFoMT would be just like FoMT. I loved AnWL so much that I wanted to rend AWL but the rental store I normally went to closed before I got the chance to rent it.

I did however get AWL:SE but I hated it. I thought that it was WAY too slow compared to AnWL... but I still have it even though I don't have any intention of ever playing it again. Now I am hooked on HMDSC and TOT. (Sorry this ending up being incredibly long... I got excited over the topic!)

Friends of Mineral Town was my first game, awesome and easy

Mine was AnWL. :D I still love that game, no matter how much I play it.

The way I got addicted was by going to a video game rental place(I forgot the name - not Blockbuster) and looking at the games. They had nothing I'd play back then. D: But then I saw AnWL, so I picked it up and read about it. It was, like, exactly what I was looking for! :'D I'd been playing so many violent games, I needed a break(ha). So, I convinced my dad to let us rent it, and we rented it out for nearly a month before we finally found a copy of our own. xD
