If you ship the lithograph, you could complete your shipping list. You can also keep the lithograph in your rucksack so that it adds points to your farm degree.

By jewelry, do you mean the ores like pink diamond and diamond? Or do you mean accessories? It depends on what you need the most, i.e. a bigger stamina bar = Goddess pendant. From the site wrote:Variable Points
* Lithograph and Bottled Message: If you keep these items in your rucksack, you will earn (item x year) points every morning. For example, if you had 5 Lithographs and you were in year 3, then each day you would earn 15 Farm Degree points.

The jewelry are called accessories in the game. They're incredibly useful and you probably want to get them all. Orichalc is a bit hard to get in sufficient quantities but it takes some time to unlock everything any way. Yes, imho the 'doghand' is worth it. Going down the mine gives you money and wonderfuls, try to get useful wonderfuls on your hammer and you'll get large amounts of Orichalc too.
Don't worry about the lithographs yet. Save every lithograph in you cabinet and it'll count towards your farm degree. Should you happen to get a full S-grade litho, ship 1 and store the others. Litho's have no monetary value but are useful for the farm degree, no need to carry them around just keep them in your cabinet.
