I'm a guy thank you lol. Then again I have no guy friends and I am gay so yeah...

I didn't want to play this game, I only found the forum because I wanted to finish River King. Double stupid because I didn't even like River King that much.

I'm male, this is my first (and hopefully only) HM game. It's ok, not really good but very addictive, I want to 'finish' this one too. It's challenging to complete everything, find out everything and try to manage everything efficient. The marriage/dating/friendship aspect doesn't interest me very much (just another thing to accomplish ;) ). The raising of crops is my favorite part, especially because of the weather system.

bahh i don't think think is a girl game, I think its considered a girls game by the community because of the fact that more girls play. And besides, wasn't there only boy version up untill recently where you got to pick your gender?

More or less. HM3 was the first one to offer a choice, but the Girl story ended when you got pregnant

Actually, when I started playing it was the opposite... there were no female versions, and sometimes I felt really awkward because I had to woo girls, and I'm a girl. At the time that I used to play HM Snes I was like.. 12 years old, so I felt a little bit... uncomfortable ._.

Well. My first chance to play as a girl was only in MFoMT, because I had no BTN for Girls nor Another Wonderful Life.
Same experience here but 1st HM game I ever played is BTN which I only allow to play as a male and finally I can start playing as a girl in IOH.

Actually HM is free for every gender to play, but maybe in this forum seem having a lot of female so that both of the guys think that HM is a girly game played because they always talked about bachelors mostly.

Well, I have many male family and friends also play HM too. My cousin brother, my 2 uncles and 2 friends of my lil brother.

Tyler (my friend) used to go on this and he's a guy. I know he would've continued, but he was so busy all the time. That seems to happen to him a lot :(

I am a girl and I LOVE harvest moon.
I have harvest moon ds, harvest moon ds cute and island of happiness!
I prefer to play as a boy onharvest moon because I find that I just like to girls better than the boys. There is nothing wrong with boys playing it at all!
