Ok, I started a new game and, Im gonna marry Elli, Im giving her gifts and every thing, and I even trigger the black heart event, but the heart is still black, plz I need help!!!

Heart colors don't change every few days, and you can only give one gift a day that affects her love points. So give her what she likes, which you can find on http://www.fogu.com/hm4/ and you'll soon enough see a difference. Also for bonus LP, get the Doctor to examine you once a day (it will cost 10G per checkup).

You thought i was that easy? Just activate her black heart event and her heart colour would be purple? Ha ha ha ha No.
In the heart event, if you answer right and make the girl happy, i think the LP would go up by close to 2000 LP, but the rest you've got to do by yourself by giving gifts. Good luck.

The heart colours don't just change once you do a heart event; it actually takes WORK! ^^; *le gasp*

So, thens; just keep giving her gifts (her favourite one, preferably), and if you keep giving her her favourite gift then within twelve days or so her heart colour will rise! Try it! It really works!!!! ^^;

Are you giving her things she likes? And by the way, giving her 20 things she likes has the same effect as giving her only 1 of the thing she likes, because love points can be only raised with a gift once per day.

Ok, I'm pretty sure its the same with every girl, as long as u give her wat she likes, but I married Karen in the 1st year (well propsed 2 her in the first year but got married on the 2nd of spring). It ain't that hard!!! Just give her wat she likes, like flowers, everyday, talk 2 her twice everyday, and there!!!! THAT's WHAT I DID AND LOOK WHERE I AM NOW!!!! sorry I havent had a coke in like 20 minutes so im kinda aggressive...but hope that helps.

You must be giving her things she doesn't really like, if your in Fall of year 1 and still have her at black heart.
It would be nice if there was a love bangle in this game, then you could see your progress and she how her LP is rising.

its not that easy...it takes a while. and Why Elli? shes very boring after marriage.

Not a while, many of the things she likes and +500 LP are very easy to get, and answering right in the heart event adds around 2000, so 2000 + (16x500)=10000.
It would take around 16 days to get from black to purple.

Well; I calculated 12! ^^; But, maybe it IS sixteen. Iunno; it took me roughly twelve days (give or take a few) in HMDSC to raise Rock's heart level by one colour.... ^^;

You should continue giving her gifts, and see if her heart colour changes, if it doesnt, then you've got a problem, but that shouldn't happen. You say that you are giving her things she likes, and her heart colour isnt changing, so maybe you're littering?

The fact that after a year shes still at black heart means that littering is not the correct word, it seems hes randomly throwing stuff everywhere he goes...0.o
