I freaked out. BUT, I took out the game, blew gently into it, and then re-inserted it into the gameboy, and the file was back.

I think it was just extreme luck, though.
Every other time that happened, I had lost it for good.
So, I didn't mean to get anybody's hopes up there, or anything..
Wow, thats lucky, very lucky. Just blow into it to revive it...
But you say it's extreme luck :(

Or maybe you saw wrong, and thought it was erased? I don't see how blowing it could save it...

No, it was when I went into the load option, both files said "There is no data." Or something like that.

Must have been really good luck then! Congrats to you.
And for me, when i get a deleted file, i wonder if it'll survive...

I guess i should hope for the best, but i hope it doesn't even delete in the first place D:
If it does, then i'll see what i can do, if i can't fix it, i'll smash it, i'm not starting another file.

Lucky, but if you were, you'd be pissed.
And since i'm always really into playing it, if it gets deleted... i'll be very mad.

I dunno What I'd do if I turned my DS* on and my save was erased... :!: :!:
*I use my DS Lite when Playing because the screen is a LOT more colourful than the GBA/GBASP screens.

I probably wouldn't smash it since it's just about my favorite game.
But I definitely would NOT play it.
Because if that happened, that would have been the third time
and I'd just assume that ffate is trying to tell me that I'm not meant to get past year four.

Hopefully though, nothing bad will happen. I wish nobody mentioned this, about files deleting for no reason, now i'm scared, and before when i knew nothing about it i was like "my game is immortal."
