When you give your horse stuff and he's all and whatnot, is that shipping those items, or does it only increase your horse's affection, sort of like giving him a gift?
I'm sorry if the kosher thing would be to pose this question in the existing horse or basket topic, but I figured, if it is, I'll just get yelled at and move on.
Yes, it ships to the box and raises affection with the animal. But you have to be careful that he doesn't move right before you press the A button. Don't know how many times it happened to me.

It's happened to me toms of times too, one of those times was a pineapple, bye bye 500g :(
For me, I would always have something expensive or special, and I'd whistle for him thirty times to make sure he'd stay RIGHT THERE, and he'd be standing there and as soon as I go to ship it in he'd move. D:<

After that incident, I never used my horse. I stuck to brushing and riding. =P
I never knew it raised his affection to use him as your bin, quite interesting is that.
I always just carried my basket around personally, just because he runs off like a « Tulip » at times.
Now that I've learned my one new thing for the day, I'm off.

Well, he has a thing when you ship something with him, so that means he likes it, so his affection will go up.
Well, there isn't actually proof, but like Miss Langston said, its not gonna go down, so the only bad thing about using the horse is that you might drop whatever you are trying to ship.
